Chris Brown's On-Stage Act Leaves Fans Shocked: What Everyone's Noticing New

Chris Brown's On-Stage Act Leaves Fans Shocked: What Everyone's Noticing

A video of Chris Brown getting steamy with a fan on-stage has resulted in many making the same observation about the encounter. The US artist has been on tour with Usher as part of the R&B Tour across North America, and they have managed to make headlines along the way. Just two months into their 33-date tour, Usher has already caused controversy after bringing a female audience member up on stage last month to engage in a steamy moment, but it quickly turned awkward. In the exchange, a shirtless Usher sang to an unimpressed female fan, who remained stiff and gave him a tight smile. While Usher's attempt ended awkwardly , as he waved her off stage after she she refused to join him on an onstage bed, she even took to social media to reveal that she only went to see Brown. And during the duo's Saturday (August 1) performance at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, the 'Fine China' artist may have proved why she wanted to be up with him. Chris Brown's steamy exchange with a fan did the rounds on social media. Credit: X Viewers make the same comment The R&B artist usually invites a female audience member up during his shows to share an intimate moment during a rendition of his 2007 hit, 'Take You Down'. Brown had a fan's hands tied up against a pole, before moving her up and down the pole as he thrust towards her, before starting to kiss her neck, which brought on cheers from the crowd. She could be seen smiling and even moaning while he kissed her neck, before he started to lick the sweat off her arms and legs. A short clip of the exchange has generated over 8.3 million views, but viewers all noticed the same thing about Brown's heated segment. In the comments below a post of the video, one user said: "Concerts have turn into soft p*rn yoo," with someone else agreeing with the point: "So people pay to watch live action p*rnos? Others remembered Usher's awkward moment on stage, as a social media user wrote: "I see why that girl at the Usher show was p**sed she didn’t get Chris Brown looool," as another quipped: "That’s how that one girl thought her night was gonna be but got Usher lmaooooooooo." A fifth user didn't hold back, claiming: "People are literally getting f***ed on the f***ing stage bro." Chris Brown took the steamy performance even further. Credit: X / @savaty_ Chris Brown took it further While many were disgusted by the original video, an extended clip soon started to circulate online. It involved Brown bringing the woman to an on-stage bed, where they partook in more NSFW simulated activities for thousands in the crowd to see. The artist can be seen throwing the woman's legs back, before simulating oral sex and licking up to her chest and seemingly planting a kiss on her. He can then be seen thrusting towards her while her legs are back, again simulating sex. If the show organizers are trying to dispel claims being made by those online, they're not doing a very good job. Featured image credit: X

Bruce Springsteen's Emotional Revelation: Patti Scialfa's Cancer Remission Journey New

Bruce Springsteen's Emotional Revelation: Patti Scialfa's Cancer Remission Journey

Bruce Springsteen revealed his wife, Patti Scialfa, is in remission after battling blood cancer for eight years. Springsteen, 76, shared the news while appearing virtually at Boston's Pan-Mass Challenge fundraiser on Saturday, August 1, thanking the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for its efforts in research and treatment. “As you know, Patti’s been living with her multiple myeloma for over eight years, but now, thankfully, she is in remission,” he told the crowd in a pretaped segment. “However, like millions of families facing cancer, we’ve learned what every patient learns: Hope has a face.” The Grammy winner gave a shout-out to everyone who makes fighting cancer more bearable. “It’s our physician who refuses to stop searching and caring. It’s our nurse who sits beside us when we’re scared and always makes our journey a little bit easier,” he said. Springsteen, who has been married to Scialfa, 73, since 1991, noted that he’s become attuned with the how the health care system works as his wife battled the disease herself. “Patti’s journey has taught us something I hope every one of us and every American can understand. Medical research isn’t an idea. It isn’t politics. It isn’t a line in a budget,” he explained. “It’s the reason families find hope when hope seems hardest to find. When we lose sight of that we lose sight of one another and that’s too high a price for anyone to pay.” Springsteen concluded his speech by thanking everyone at Boston’s Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), saying, “Patti and I are grateful for everything you continue to do. Thank you.” The rocker then played an acoustic version of his 1975 hit “Born to Run” for attendees. “Have a great ride, and God bless!” he added. Springsteen’s appearance at the 47th annual PMC fundraiser came less than two years after Scialfa publicly shared her diagnosis. She opened up about her battle with multiple myeloma in the 2024 documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, revealing she had been diagnosed in 2018. Scialfa, who shares sons Evan, 36, and Samuel, 32, and daughter Jessica, 34, with Springsteen, explained in the documentary that her medical condition was a big part of her stepping back from her husband’s world tour, which began in February 2023 and ended in July 2025. “This affects my immune system, so I have to be careful what I choose to do and where I choose to go,” Scialfa, who has been part of the E Street Band since 1984, said at the time. “Every once in a while, I come to a show or two and I can sing a few songs on stage, and that’s been a treat. That’s the new normal for me right now, and I’m OK with that.” Springsteen, for his part, revealed in October 2024 that his wife’s illness had changed his perspective on life. “Hey, you get up around our age, and those are the things you’re thinking about,” Springsteen told the audience at the Los Angeles premiere of Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. “Patti and I have had to deal with her illness, and you’re worried about … it is a part of your life now, questions of mortality, and it just becomes a part of your life.”

Why Social Security Payments This Week Are Sparking Conversations New

Why Social Security Payments This Week Are Sparking Conversations

A new round of Social Security payments is set to be issued this week to some beneficiaries.More than 70 million Americans receive Social Security, including retirement, disability and survivor benefits. The program is the nation’s largest social safety net and distributes billions of dollars in payments each year.Given the number of people it serves, the Social Security Administration (SSA) does not send every payment on the same day. Instead, benefits are distributed according to a staggered schedule throughout each month.A round of Social Security payments will be made on Monday, August 3, for two types of beneficiaries:Supplemental Security Income recipients who also collect Social Security. Those who have been claiming Social Security benefits since before May 1997.Beneficiaries whose payment does not arrive on its scheduled date are advised to wait three working days before contacting the SSA. Social Security retirement benefits are calculated using a person’s earnings record and the age at which they begin collecting payments. Eligible workers may start claiming benefits from age 62, although doing so results in a lower monthly payment than waiting until full retirement age or later.Workers generally need 40 Social Security credits to qualify for retirement benefits. Because no more than four credits can be earned each year, most people must work for roughly 10 years before becoming eligible. In 2026, someone who earned the maximum amount subject to Social Security taxes throughout their career could receive approximately $4,152 a month if they claimed at full retirement age. Starting benefits at age 62 would lower the payment to about $2,969, while waiting until age 70 could raise it to roughly $5,181 a month....Most retirees, however, receive considerably less than the maximum benefit. The average monthly Social Security retirement payment is $2,024.77.Supplemental Security Income, or SSI, is calculated differently. Rather than being based on age and employment history, SSI is a needs-based program for people who are blind, disabled or have limited income and resources. In 2026, the maximum federal SSI payment is $994 a month for an individual, although the amount may be reduced depending on their income and financial circumstances.Payment Dates In AugustFurther payments for other beneficiaries will be made on the following dates in August:August 12, 2026: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th.August 19, 2026: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th.August 26, 2026: Payments for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st.COLA PredictionsSocial Security recipients receive a cost-of-living adjustment, or COLA, each year to help their benefits keep pace with rising prices. Early forecasts indicate that the 2027 increase could be larger than this year’s adjustment as inflation remains elevated. The official figure will not be announced until October, but analysts have raised their estimates following increases in the cost of gasoline, energy and groceries. The Senior Citizens League, a nonprofit advocacy organization, now projects that the 2027 COLA could reach 3.8 percent. The adjustment is calculated using the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers, known as the CPI-W. The SSA determines the COLA by comparing the average CPI-W reading for July, August and September with the average from the same period a year earlier. Benefits rise by the corresponding percentage when prices increase, rounded to the nearest tenth of a percentage point.A typical newly retired two-income couple could lose almost $17,000 a year in Social Security benefits beginning in 2033 unless Congress addresses the program’s looming funding gap, according to a recent analysis from the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. The estimate is based on projections that Social Security’s retirement trust fund will be depleted by the end of 2032. The program has been paying out more in benefits than it receives in revenue, requiring it to use its reserves to cover the difference.Once those reserves are exhausted, existing law would limit payments to the amount collected through payroll taxes. The CRFB estimates that this would trigger an automatic benefit reduction of about 22 percent.People who are currently 61 would reach full retirement age around the time the cuts could take effect, placing them among the first newly retired Americans to face reduced payments if lawmakers do not act before the trust fund runs out.Elsewhere, the Trump Accounts initiative, designed to help children accumulate savings, could put disability benefits at risk for some participants once they become adults, a new report has warned. Families are able to begin opening the accounts for children this month. Babies born from 2025 through 2028 may receive a $1,000 federal deposit, while parents, relatives and other contributors can add further funds. The money is invested over time and becomes available when the child reaches age 18.The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a left-leaning policy organization, has cautioned that disabled children may later become ineligible for SSI and Medicaid-linked services if the value of their accounts exceeds the program’s $2,000 asset cap.

Outrage as Kentucky Child Killer Walks Free After Serving Sentence New

Outrage as Kentucky Child Killer Walks Free After Serving Sentence

A Kentucky child killer who butchered a sleeping boy to death but was acquitted by reason of insanity was released from prison on Wednesday– as the boy’s father fumed at the judicial system.Ronald Exantus served out his entire prison sentence and was back on the streets after he was released from the Kentucky Department of Corrections for the deadly Dec. 7, 2015, stabbing melee that killed 6-year-old Logan Tipton.“Pursuant to state laws passed by Kentucky’s General Assembly, Ronald Exantus has served the sentence issued by the Woodford Circuit Court and has been released. He is no longer in the custody of the Department of Corrections. The Kentucky Parole Board did not release Exantus, and he was not released early,” the state’s Department of Corrections said, WKYT reported.Ronald Exantus was released from prison after serving his sentence for the December 2015 stabbing that killed Logan Tipton. Kentucky Department of CorrectionsExantus doesn’t face any other probation regarding the killing. Tipton’s father, Dean Tipton, said his family was punished more than his son’s killer, who was charged with assault. “The judge and jury gave this monster a slap on the wrist while handing down a life sentence to my family,” the heartbroken father wrote on Facebook Wednesday.“Trying really hard to not let this break me….I’ve carried so much over the years since Logan going to be with our Lord. I have woke up everyday, put on my fake ass smile and have carried on with life and literally living through hell. Today though, I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to go on with life. Knowing that this monster gets to walk free and live his life, while I lay in this bed and my baby boy is in the grave. This may be my breaking point,” he added. The now-42-year-old had broken into a Versailles, Ky., home, where he butchered little Logan Tipton to death while the kindergartner slept.Logan Tipton was killed by Exantus while he slept at his family home in Versailles, Ky., on Dec. 7, 2015. Facebook/Kota TiptonExantus also stabbed Dean Tipton and his two sisters, telling the one sibling, Dakota, that he would kill the entire family. The madman was arrested and tried for the kindergartner’s killing but was found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity after his attorney argued Exantus was genetically schizophrenic, WKYT reported.Exantus, a former dialysis nurse, was instead sentenced to a maximum of 20 years behind bars for assault charges against the three other family members during his 2018 trial.During his time in prison, Exantus received nearly nine years of sentence credit, speeding up his release.Toys surround the grave of Logan Tipton after his death on Dec. 7, 2015. Facebook/Heather PujolHe was first released on parole on Oct. 1, 2025, but was quickly back behind bars after moving to Florida when he failed to register as a convicted felon and violated his parole eight days later. He was extradited to Kentucky, where he served out the remainder of his sentence locked up until Wednesday.During that time, the Kentucky State Legislature passed Logan’s Law, which amended the state’s parole eligibility for violent offenders, changed insanity defense procedures and eliminated some of the early-release options.Despite the bill being signed into law by Gov. Andy Beshear in April, it does not retroactively affect Exantus’ release, allowing him to walk free.“So I’ve come to terms that even though we got Logans Law passed it is still not enough,” Dean Tipton wrote on Facebook Saturday. “Violent criminals should not be able to knock so much time off their sentence.“So this is my next goal. Im going to fight to have the amount of time limited and considering on how Violent the crime is no time being knocked off. Our judicial system as a whole needs to be over hauled and I am gonna fight for more change,” he said.Dean Tipton notably threatened to kill Exantus after his initial release, warning his son’s killer of his fate if the two ever crossed paths.“I’ve had my talks with God cause I’m not afraid to tell you all, I told the court — if I ever cross paths with him, I will kill the man. I will kill him where he stands,” he previously told WKYT.

Sandra Bullock's Heartfelt Tribute to Her Sister That Everyone's Talking About New

Sandra Bullock's Heartfelt Tribute to Her Sister That Everyone's Talking About

Sandra Bullock knows a thing or two about the power of sisterhood. “I am so lucky to have this brilliant soul by my side who knows me, missteps and all, and still chooses to love me. Every. Single. Day,” Bullock, 62, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 2, sharing throwback family photos with her sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado. “Happy Sisters Day. Both those born to you, and those you have chosen along the way! I love you Gigi.” The actress also quoted Alice Hoffman’s The Book of Magic, writing, “When you have a sister, someone who knows the story of who you were and who you will always be, there is no deeper tie, no stronger bond.” Hoffman’s book was later adapted into 1998’s Practical Magic, where Bullock stars opposite Nicole Kidman. The two stars recently reprised their roles as witchy siblings in Practical Magic 2. “Last year, I was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell. Now, I’m in a place of saying, ‘2026. Here we go,’” Kidman, 59, told Variety in March of the follow-up flick. “I have Practical Magic with Sandy. I’ll be in full witch mode.” Kidman and Bullock will be joined in the highly anticipated sequel by Joey King and Maisie Williams portraying their daughters. “As fans of the original film ourselves, I feel like when you love something as much as we already love Practical Magic, there’s just massive responsibility of joining the team and wanting to do it justice,” King, 27, told People at Teen Vogue Fest held late last month. “They are the best duo ever. Nicole and I worked together a few years ago [on Netflix’s A Family Affair]. She plays my mom in a movie and we become really close from that, which is so crazy. I’m just such a fan of her. I’m so in awe of her. She’s the nicest person ever.” King further revealed that Bullock took the two young actresses “under her wing” when they filmed Practical Magic 2. “It is really special to have this post-movie bond with her that we have. She sends us voice notes all the time,” the Kissing Booth star gushed. “She’s always hyping us up. She’s just the sweetest. They’re the best.” As for Williams, 29, she told People that Bullock will “text us both straight away.” “I think it says, ‘Hello, it’s your mother here.’ And I think, ‘Wow,’” the Game of Thrones alum recalled. “It is just amazing. She’s so lovely. The nicest woman in Hollywood.” Practical Magic 2 hits theaters Friday, September 11.

Trump's Surprise Move: New Iran Talks Begin After Weekend Attack Called Off New

Trump's Surprise Move: New Iran Talks Begin After Weekend Attack Called Off

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE – President Trump announced new talks with Tehran will begin Monday after he called off a “massive” attack on Iran that had been planned for this weekend.Appeals from several Gulf state allies — along with Iran itself — led Trump to stand down, he said. Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud spoke privately with the president on Saturday.“I was asked to by Saudi Arabia, by UAE, by Qatar, and by Iran,” he told reporters aboard Air Force One Sunday when asked why he scrapped the plan to strike Iran. President Trump said new talks with Iran would begin on Monday. Jim LoScalzo / Pool via CNP / SplashNews.com“We were all set to go,” he said, adding it would have been a “massive attack.”But the Saudi crown prince reassured him that Iran was ready to make a deal.“They thought that a deal is imminent,” Trump said, noting it would include the Strait of Hormuz and on Iran’s nuclear program. The Trump administration has been clear he wants the strait — a critical waterway for global trade and oil shipments — open and free of tolls. They also want Tehran not to be able to access nuclear weapons. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi during a press conference at the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi on May 15, 2026. India Today Group/Getty ImagesTrump was circumspect on whether a deal could be reached with the Iranians – negotiations between the warring countries have routinely fallen apart over internal factions within the regime reportedly at odds – when talks begin again Monday afternoon.“A lot of times they’ll say that to me, and then they’ll go out and say we don’t know what he’s talking about,” he said.He wouldn’t give a deadline for reaching an agreement but assured that the US military is ready to strike at any time.“We’re ready to go anytime we want,” he said.

Alexa PenaVega's Heartfelt Revelation About Late Daughter Indy New

Alexa PenaVega's Heartfelt Revelation About Late Daughter Indy

Alexa PenaVega ultimately found purpose in the wake of her late daughter Indy’s stillbirth. “Two years ago, we lost our daughter at birth. She was adorable, just chunky, beautiful. It was a full-term stillbirth,” PenaVega, 37, recalled on the Thursday, July 30, episode of the “Dear Future Husband” podcast. “Never in your wildest dreams would you ever imagine walking through that ever, and it's going to sound crazy, but it was such a gift.” Alexa and her husband, Big Time Rush singer Carlos PenaVega, announced in 2024 that their fourth child was born sleeping. (Alexa and Carlos, 36, also share sons Ocean, 9, and Kingston, 7, and daughter Rio, 5.) “Indy's life is so full. She may be in heaven, but, like, she is so full,” Alexa noted to podcast host Christian Bevere. “I didn't grow up thinking about death, you know, ‘cause it’s scary. Death has lost its sting. We have felt the valley, and I think we feared the valley so much because everyone told us to fear the valley.” She continued, “But in the valley with God, there are diamonds. The valley is loaded with rubies and gold and gems and the things that everyone is so afraid to go get, you know, and here we are, like, swimming in luxury in the worst time of our lives because He was just there for us.” Alexa and Carlos, in particular, found solace in their faith following Indy’s death. “We lost her on a Saturday morning and Sunday, the next day, my husband's like, ‘How are you doing?’ [He was] just trying to check in with me and be an amazing husband, but we're both equally just hurting,” the Spy Kids actress recalled of Carlos’ support. “[He] had his peace immediately. It’s a weird space to be in like, total peace but total pain. I'm like, ‘I really have to go to church.’” Standing in church one-day postpartum, Alexa held hands with the musician as they hung onto every word of the preacher’s sermon. “We just begin to just cry uncontrollably uncontrollably. It wasn't loud,” she recalled on Thursday. “It was like it was just us in our own little world, our hands are raised and we're worshipping.” In the months and years since grieving the stillbirth, Alexa and Carlos held onto their relationship even more. “When her loss happened, it was still a big blow, but [God’s] peace was so evident and so all over our lives, and the way he used her life to ignite our family,” Alexa stated. “I hear about these couples who end up breaking up after the loss of a child and it hurts my heart so much because, for us, it ignited us. It was, like, the fan to the flame that [made us] so much more intentional with each other. Walls were broken.”

Is Bill Owens Plotting a '60 Minutes' Comeback with Fired Stars?

Is Bill Owens Plotting a '60 Minutes' Comeback with Fired Stars?

A former boss of “60 Minutes” wants to launch a rival news series with Scott Pelley and other correspondents and producers who have recently exited the iconic show — but insiders are skeptical about whether it can get off the ground, The Post has learned. Bill Owens – who resigned last year as “60 Minutes” executive producer amid a dustup between CBS and President Trump over how a Kamala Harris interview was edited – is looking to raise around $50 million to fund two years’ worth of in-depth and investigative news segments, sources with knowledge said. The lump sum Owens is seeking would bankroll everything from staffing and production to marketing and legal, sources added. Still, for the idea to work, former “60 Minutes” journalists would likely be forced to take a drastic pay cut.Former “60 Minutes” executive producer Bill Owens is looking to launch a streaming news magazine, sources said. Getty Images for Writers Guild of America East“I think they’re asking for too much money,” a source familar with the plan said. “They’re looking at the old ’60 Minutes’ model and they’re all used to mega salaries.”A source close to Owens denied the plans.Still, some insiders speculated that a “60 Minutes”-style venture could potentially capitalize on recent upheaval at the 57-year-old show after CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss cleaned house in recent months.A second source said Owens is angling to enlist the bombastic Pelley, who was fired in June after he tore into Weiss, claiming she was “murdering ‘60 Minutes” during a staff meeting.Indeed, there has been chatter that Pelley’s scorched-earth exit – in which he also slammed the show’s new executive producer Bilton, telling him he’d “never be welcomed” – was partly a ploy to gin up buzz ahead of an upcoming venture.“60 Minutes'” new executive producer Nick Bilton has been scrambling to rebuild the show before it goes to air in September. Joshua BlanchardOwens could also tap other fired “60 Minutes” staffers including ex-correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega, former executive producer Tanya Simon and senior producers Guy Campanile and Draggan Mihailovich and Matthew Polevoy, a source with knowledge said.Owens declined to comment. Other former “60 Minutes” staffers couldn’t be reached for comment. As The Post reported last week, the show’s new executive producer Nick Bilton has struggled to hire senior producers and has used interviews with prospective candidates as “therapy sessions” to vent about his own work conditions.Last week, Bilton announced four “new faces” coming to “60 Minutes” — Ross Douthat, Sebastian Junger, Gianna Toboni and Trevor Phillips, as well as longtime CBS News journo Norah O’Donnell. Some of the hires have been met with skepticism over their broadcast TV qualifications.Owens shopped the idea of a rival show earlier this year, but hit some snags — including securing money and a platform, sources close to the situation said.Fired “60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley has been rumored to be working with Owens on the new venture. AFP via Getty ImagesIn recent weeks, however, fired “60 Minutes” staffers have put together a business plan and pitch deck. The old gang is hoping to produce a documentary-style program for streaming and potentially digital platforms, according to sources.“Rather than a chat show, it will be deeply reported, similar to ‘60 Minutes’,” a source said.Still, Owens and his colleagues face a major problem — namely the stiff costs of producing a “60 Minutes”-type program and the challenge of convincing deep-pocketed streamers like Netflix, Apple and YouTube — or even a TV network like NBC — to foot the bill.“There isn’t a huge appetite,” from major streaming platforms or broadcast networks, said one TV agent.Owens will likely tap fired correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega (center left and center right), as well as former executive producer Tanya Simon (right). CBS via Getty ImagesInsiders have speculated that a prime target for the series would be Netflix, the prospective archrival to CBS owner Paramount Skydance and its pending, $110 billion merger partner Warner Bros Discovery, the owner of HBO Max.“There’s no clamoring on the Netflix side for overall news,” said one former streaming exec. “But for a tightly done show that isn’t too expensive, maybe it could work.”Pivot podcast co-host Scott Galloway has been vocal on his show about why Netflix should hire Pelley and other former “60 Minutes” to create their own version, citing the show’s success.“If I were [Netflix CEO] Ted Sarandos, I would call Scott Pelley and Anderson Cooper, pay them $10 million each, you hire whoever the f you want, including an executive producer and Netflix will put something out called. ‘The Hour,'” he said recently.CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss is revamping “60 Minutes” and has been cleaning house as part of that effort. CBS News via APIf Owens isn’t able to ink a hefty deal with a streamer, he will need to prepare to make his show on a shoestring budget, said one source who works in the digital video space. Building an audience of subscribers — a notoriously difficult prospect — would be also vital to success, the person added. On YouTube, a video with 1 million views typically earns around $5,000 in advertising revenue. One million subscribers can bring in upwards of $1 million a year, and sponsorships can meaningfully increase that amount depending on the sponsor. Owens’ efforts come as Weiss has decimated the show’s staff in a bid to update the program and address criticisms that it was marred by left-wing bias.Pelley had griped that his bosses were trying to interfere with his reports and insert “political bias.” CBS News denied Pelley’s claims and said the edits were part of the normal journalistic process between correspondent and editor.Four of the seven correspondents from last season’s “60 Minutes” exited the program. CBS via Getty ImagesAlthough Owens quit “60 Minutes” last year – before Weiss’ arrival – he too complained about interference from higher ups.The exec quit the lofty gig last year when the show’s parent company Paramount was settling a lawsuit against President Trump over claims of “deceptive editing” of an interview with Harris that aired days before the November 2024 presidential election. As previously reported by The Post, Bilton has been stewing over how he was treated by Pelley and the staff, who applauded the correspondent for standing up to the new boss.Sources told The Post that Bilton’s lack of TV experience is a key issue with higher-ups at CBS, who have expressed concerns that he has “big ideas” but lacks the “skills to get things done,” which has some worrying about the show’s September debut. But there’s no guarantee an Owens-led “60 Minutes” knockoff will be a success. One source pointed to CBS’ attempt to rival HBO’s acclaimed “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” with “60 Minutes Sports,” which it launched in 2013 with Showtime. The show ultimately shuttered in 2017, after failing to build a large enough audience.  “Real Sports,” the sports documentary show ended its 29-year-run in 2023 when Gumbel retired.

Dolores Catania's Son Frankie Weds in Stunning Portugal Ceremony

Dolores Catania's Son Frankie Weds in Stunning Portugal Ceremony

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania was one proud mother-of-the groom at her son Frankie Catania’s wedding to his now-wife, Nicole Perricho. Frankie, 27, and Nicole, 31, said “I do” on Saturday, August 1, in a dreamy destination wedding in Portugal, per social media footage shared by guests. For the happy occasion, Nicole was the picture of a blushing bride in her long-sleeved lace ball gown with a matching veil. She later changed into a fitted, strapless sheath for the reception. Frankie, for his part, looked dapped in a khaki-colored suit. Frankie, the son of Dolores, 55, and ex-husband Frank Catania Sr., popped the question to his girlfriend of three years in February 2025. “An absolutely amazing day celebrating such a special engagement,” Frankie wrote via Instagram at the time, announcing their engagement. “Thank you so much to everyone for the congratulations and warm wishes!” In the months leading up to the big day, Dolores offered glimpses of Frankie and Nicole’s planning process. “They want a destination wedding in Portugal,” the Bravolebrity teased during a March 2025 episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “So, we'll do that and then he'll have to have something here because my family doesn't leave Paterson [New Jersey]. … I got them to New York [City for Frankie’s proposal], that was far enough, so it's gonna be probably two weddings." When Frankie proposed to Nicole at NYC’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dolores actually hid outside. “Me incognito waiting for the proposal,” the Traitors alum wrote via Instagram Stories, sharing a glimpse of her oversized sunglasses and face mask to go incognito. Dolores has showcased her family’s life publicly after she joined RHONJ for 2016’s season 17. (In addition to Frankie, Dolores and her ex-husband also share daughter Gabrielle.) Dolores and Frank Sr., 61, are now engaged to Paulie Connell and Brittany Mattessich, respectively, and remain cordial. “It wasn’t hard. It came easy after all the fighting,” Dolores exclusively told Us in May 2024 of maintaining a friendly dynamic with her former spouse. “I tell everybody, ‘You’re not going to remember the things you fought about. So, stop fighting [about it]; they’re not important. It’s just not, let things go and just move on with life.’” She added at the time, “I remember all the good memories we’ve had, the trips we’ve taken together [and] the holidays we’ve shared together. Those are my memories of me, Frank and the family after my divorce.”

Iran's Hormuz Concessions: The Untold Story Behind Trump’s Retreat

Iran’s negotiators signaled to the US that they could reopen the Strait of Hormuz before President Trump called off massive strikes on the country this weekend, according to reports — but the IRGC is already denying any deal.Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Qatari and American diplomats that Tehran was prepared to make concessions on the Strait of Hormuz — including a deal that would allow ships to enter through Iranian waters, and exit via Oman, according to Israel’s N12 and reporter Barak Ravid. However, other Iranian officials are already claiming there’s been no deal involving the strait, where nearly a fifth of the world’s seaborne oil supplies once flowed.Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reportedly agreed to concessions on the Strait of Hormuz, but it’s unclear if the IRGC is on board. REUTERS“There is no agreement whatsoever regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the reports published on the subject are false,” an Iranian official said told Fars News Agency, which has ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The latest breakdown in the cease-fire deal came after Iran started attacking ships that were navigating Hormuz via a route through Omani waters that the US had opened. Iran has maintained it must be allowed to charge tolls to ships crossing through that strait — thought such a toll would be illegal under international law. Trump indicated that there had been a breakthrough when he opted to hold off on plans to launch a massive, multi-week attack against Iran that was reported to include strikes on critical infrastructure within the Islamic Republic.“[W]e have just been asked by Iran, and other Middle Eastern Countries, to hold off any attack in that the perimeters of a deal has been agreed to,” Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday.“This would include the Immediate, Complete, and Total OPENING OF THE HORMUZ STRAIT, and an end to Iran’s nuclear threat,” he added. “I have agreed, for the future benefit of the WORLD and, likewise, the survival of a successful and prosperous Iran, to cancel the attack, subject to being able to rapidly make a DEAL.”President Trump has stressed that the US is still prepared to carry out massive attacks on Iran. AFP via Getty ImagesTrump further threatened that the US “is locked and loaded and ready to go against the Islamic Republic of Iran, at levels of Military Terror, Strength, and Power not seen since World War II.”Trump’s move also came after he spoke to Saudi leader Muhammad bin Salman, who urged him to hold off on a major strike.Saudi media said MBS “emphasized the need to use the language of dialogue to reduce escalation and the importance of making all possible efforts to achieve a calming.”Oman had also backed the proposal, according to N12, but there are questions about whether Araghchi is in sync with the IRGC — which has pushed to take a harder line than the politicians who are negotiating with the US. The IRGC leadership have frequently blocked deals during negotiations with the US. Trump and his negotiators have long expressed frustration over internal Iranian divisions that have complicated discussions.Trump has repeatedly threatened to carry out massive attacks on Iran before later backing off due to optimism about a breakthrough.

Evangelist Whitney Lynn Sparks Controversy After Preaching on Delayed Flight

Evangelist Whitney Lynn Sparks Controversy After Preaching on Delayed Flight

An Evangelist influencer from Florida was booted from an Alaska Airlines flight on Thursday after preaching to her fellow passengers during a take-off delay. Whitney Lynn, 40, filmed the bizzare scene on Alaska Airlines flight 708 out of Orlando International Airport in a series of Instagram videos, including the moment she was told she was apparently making crew members feel unsafe. The San Diego-bound flight was delayed prior to take off, which is when Lynn, started to preach from the aisle of the plane. Evangelist Whitney Lynn, 40, claims she was kicked off an Alaska Airlines flight for preaching.“I know we’re all waiting. It’s kind of frustrating, right? this wait. But I want to tell you that God’s timing is perfect and God knows everything,” Lynn can be heard saying to the surrounding aircraft passengers in one of the videos. “And maybe he’s sparing us from danger today. So I want you to rest and know that Jesus Christ loves you so much that he died on the cross for your sins,” she continued. In another video, an apparent airline staffer can be seen telling Lynn to gather her belongings and deplane the aircraft. The Evangelist influencer posted a series of videos of the incident on July 30. Instagram/@whitneylynn1“Can you tell me what’s going on? You can’t just tell me to get my stuff and then not tell me what’s going on,” Lynn asked the airport employee. The employee proceeds to tell the Evangelist that the crew don’t “feel safe” with her onboard.“Oh my gosh I didn’t know the message of Jesus Christ was unsafe,” Lynn said. “Wow, do I have any guns or anything like that? No, I don’t.”“So freedom of speech is not safe?” she questions.Lynn claimed it was an act of “spiritual warfare.”As she is gathering her belongings, Lynn says that her preaching is “spiritual warfare” because “demons don’t like the name of Jesus.”The influencer then disembarks the plane and is met by two members of airport upon re-entering the terminal, according to another video. In a statement to The Post, Alaska Airlines said that “prior to the departure of Alaska Airlines Flight 708 from Orlando to San Diego on July 30, our flight crew became increasingly concerned about a guest’s behavior on board the aircraft, which was also affecting other guests”“The passenger was asked to deplane the aircraft for safety reasons. For the foreseeable future, the guest will not be permitted to travel on our flights.”The Evangelist is allegedly temporarily banned from Alaska Airlines and its affiliate airlines following the incident. Instagram/@whitneylynn1Lynn later posted an email she claimed was Alaska Airlines Corporate Security advising that she was temporarily banned from the airline and its affiliates, including Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air Flights. “This decision was made based on reports we received regarding your recent travels with us,” the alleged email says.“Upon conclusion of our investigation, we will reach out to you once again with a final decision.”The Evangelist also claimed on social media that she successfully converted an airport shuttle driver who transported her back to her hotel that day — and prayed with a man she later met at the hotel’s front desk.“Looking back, I can clearly see God’s hand in it all. What seemed like a setback became an opportunity for people to hear the gospel and give their lives to Christ,” Lynn wrote. The Post reached out to Orlando Police Department but did not immediately hear back.
