Bruce Springsteen's Emotional Revelation: Patti Scialfa's Cancer Remission Journey

Bruce Springsteen revealed his wife, Patti Scialfa, is in remission after battling blood cancer for eight years.

Springsteen, 76, shared the news while appearing virtually at Boston's Pan-Mass Challenge fundraiser on Saturday, August 1, thanking the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for its efforts in research and treatment.

“As you know, Patti’s been living with her multiple myeloma for over eight years, but now, thankfully, she is in remission,” he told the crowd in a pretaped segment. “However, like millions of families facing cancer, we’ve learned what every patient learns: Hope has a face.”
