A former New Jersey elementary school teacher who gave birth to a child fathered by her underage former student has pleaded guilty in the shocking sex abuse case — even as the victim insists he initiated the relationship and wants her charges dropped.

Laura Caron, 36, pleaded guilty to second degree endangering the welfare of a child with sexual conduct, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland announced on Oct. 30.
