Taylor Frankie Paul’s Custody Battle Takes a Turn After Drug Test Claims

Taylor Frankie Paul’s Custody Battle Takes a Turn After Drug Test Claims

Taylor Frankie Paul reportedly had her visitation rights shortened after allegedly failing multiple drug tests amid her custody disputes with ex-husband Tate Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Paul, 32, allegedly failed multiple drug tests in the last 60 days, according to a TMZ report published Wednesday, September 16. The outlet also claimed that, as a result, she was limited to eight hours of weekly parenting time with her kids. (Taylor shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, with Tate, 34, as well as son Ever, 2, with Mortensen, 33.) Taylor has not publicly addressed the accusations. Us reached out for comment. Us understands that juvenile court proceedings are strictly confidential and a court-ordered gag order remains in effect. “The fact that alleged information from these confidential proceedings is being disclosed publicly is yet another example of the continuing harassment and inappropriate conduct from the other side,” a source tells Us. Taylor temporarily lost custody of Ever in March after resurfaced footage from her 2023 arrest was leaked. (Taylor was arrested for assault after an alleged incident with Mortensen and was remanded to probation after pleading guilty as part of a deal to dismiss child abuse accusations. She completed her three-year sentence in August.) After a recent court hearing, a judge ruled to increase Taylor’s visitation rights with Ever and also granted the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star and Mortensen mutual protective orders. Tate, for his part, requested a restraining order against Taylor in July to change the terms of their divorce and custody arrangement. His motion was subsequently denied. Throughout the ordeal, Taylor has denied the accusations into her character. “I tried to have this sealed from the beginning. It wasn’t in protection of me, but honestly, just to keep it sealed for the children,” she alleged in a social media video uploaded in July about the legal proceedings. “This was something I asked for and was denied from the beginning. I am an open book. I will give you the ugly and the pretty. If you know me, I don’t claim to be this ‘mother of the year.’ I have my faults.” She continued, “I also have a right to stick up for myself, give context of my life. … I will admit I am a lot of things. I can confidently say that if you were to put my kids on a [witness] stand, they are choosing Mom and Mom’s house every time, I say that with full confidence because I love my children. They know that I love them.” If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.

Amber Glenn Calls Out 'DWTS' for Breaking Chivalry Norms

Amber Glenn Calls Out 'DWTS' for Breaking Chivalry Norms

Figure skater Amber Glenn found the Dancing With the Stars season 35 premiere especially nerve-wracking. “OK, first, why would they do that to us? No, thank you,” Glenn, 26, joked to Us after the live broadcast on Wednesday, September 16. “Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful to be on the show … and, like, ‘Aw, this is a dream come true,’ [but] why the hell did the men go first? What happened to ladies first? What happened to chivalry? What?” DWTS kicked off its latest season on Tuesday, September 15, with the male celebrities taking the ballroom floor for the first time. The women had their own chance to shine the next night. “[It was] tough sitting here and just watching and not being able to do [our routine] out there,” Glenn’s pro partner, Pasha Pashkov, told Us on Wednesday. “They got to dance yesterday and get everything out of the way, and today just sit here and watch and enjoy. And us yesterday, we're watching and we still have to stay focused for tomorrow. It wasn't easy.” When it was their time to take the stage, Glenn and Pashkov, 40, delivered a sizzling cha-cha to “Smooth” by Santana featuring Rob Thomas. The routine earned a total score of 18 out of 30 from the judging panel. “I was really trying to perform to the best of my ability while remembering, like, ‘OK, I'm not here on my own. I can't just do whatever,’” she told Us of her competition mindset. “Usually I can kind of just make little things happen that are different. I'm like, ‘Oh, I can't. I gotta stick to the plan.’” While Glenn is used to skating on her own instead of with a team or partner, the Olympian has found other aspects of her sport coming in handy on DWTS. “I think [my Olympics experience] has definitely helped me in the performance aspect and how to handle waiting for an entire day and watching and waiting and waiting and waiting and then eventually getting to perform,” she explained. “It's been really nice, because I've gotten to talk to some of the other people with different backgrounds, different experiences, but I've also gotten to come in with a lot of tips and tricks I've learned over the years, [like] how to bandage your foot when you get blisters and how to handle some performance anxiety.” She continued, “For a lot of people here, this is their first time performing live, whereas I perform live — not anything close to this, but there are a few things that I've been able to give my expertise or advice in. I've learned so much from all the other pros and the stars and everything.” Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Florida Mom's Shocking Confession: Secret Affair with Son Revealed

A married Florida mother and her son were charged with incest after she admitted that the two had had sex “only about 100 times” since he was a teenager — while keeping it secret from her husband, according to police. The sick relationship was first revealed by Shane Clemens, 22, who was outraged after his mom, Christina Clemens, 46, called the police and accused him of assaulting her last month, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.“So he got mad because she called and we arrested him for hitting mama. And then he said, ‘Well, I’ll tell you what — I’ve been having sex with my mama since I was 18 years old,’” Judd revealed in a video address Wednesday. Christina and Shane Clemens were both charged with incest.“So we asked mama, ‘Have you been having sex with your son since he was 18?’ She says, ‘Only about 100 times. I didn’t stutter’ — that’s what she told us,” the sheriff said about the mother and son, both from Lakeland.Investigators then spoke with Christina’s husband, who said the couple were “happily married” and living together. When he was asked if he knew his wife was having sex with her son, he said no, but he was a little suspicious because they used to go into the master bedroom together and lock the door, Judd said.“What else can you say? That’s nasty,” the sheriff remarked.Christina was charged with one count of incest, one count of living in open adultery and one count of domestic battery, jail records show. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called the allegations “nasty.” Polk County Sheriff's OfficeShe was released on a $6,250 total bond on Sept. 4.Shane Clemens was charged with one count of incest and one count of domestic violence battery. VP J.D. Vance's Bold Plea for Trump's Return Amid Midterm Tensions

VP J.D. Vance's Bold Plea for Trump's Return Amid Midterm Tensions

Vice President J.D. Vance is giving his “pitch” to prospective voters ahead of the highly contested 2026 midterms, begging voters to give Donald Trump’s divisive administration “another chance” amid historically low poll numbers. “Give us another chance,” Vance, 42, directly pleaded with voters on the Tuesday, September 15, episode of the “All In” podcast. “Give us another couple years to continue to work on the amazing things that we’ve been doing for the past two years.” The former Trump adversary-turned-ally added, “Even if you don’t agree with us on every issue, the other party is consumed by craziness.” The vice president presented an eyebrow-raising midterm strategy during multiple media appearances this week, encouraging voters to be wary of the Democratic Party — even if they are unsatisfied with the various aspects of the Trump administration’s policies, including the war in Iran, high gas prices, inflation, cost of living, controversial immigration policy and an affinity for renaming monuments and rebuilding Washington, D.C. in the president’s image. “To the American people, I’d say, send these people [Democrats] packing,” he said in Tuesday’s podcast interview. “Put them in the mental hospital. Do not put them in Congress because even if you don’t agree with us on every policy issue, at least we’re motivated by common sense and American interest. They’re just motivated left-wing interest groups and radicalism and they’re going to do a very bad job if we give them power.” Vance’s pitch comes during a time where the GOP faces a gloomy forecast for November’s midterms. On Wednesday, September 16, pollster Nate Silver cited a “string of excellent polls for Democrats” with mere weeks to go before election day. The same pollster shared an aggregation of Trump’s personal popularity across several top polls on Wednesday, revealing that the president currently holds a 58.5 percent disapproval rating — which is only “up slightly from its all time low.” (Trump currently holds 38.4 percent approval, per Silver.) Despite his sagging poll numbers, Trump continues to ask voters to approach the midterms as if his name was on the ballot — even though, constitutionally, it cannot and will not be. . Trump faced criticism for his appearance at the GOP’s American Airlines Center in Dallas, where he asked delegates to personally pledge their allegiance to him. “Please raise your right hand. I pledge to the greatest president in the history of the United States that loves us so much he can’t even breathe,” Trump, 80, said on September 10, per USA Today. “That I will go out with my family, my friends. I’ll do it anyway. I don’t care if I am registered or not, I am going to cheat like hell like they do. There have never been bigger cheaters.” The president went on to say,“I’m going to go out and get my friends, my family, and we are going to vote on November 3, or we are going to vote before that.” Later, he attempted to firm up support within his base to get out the vote on election day. (Trump has promised to send $5,000 dividend checks to all American adults if the GOP wins in November, though House Speaker Mike Johnson has since confirmed any payments would need the approval of Congress.) “You know what? If you want, you can vote Democrat, but I don’t think there’s one person in this room that’s going to vote [for them],” he said. “I don’t think so.” Trump continued, “You know what happens if you don’t vote? You go to hell, you know that? You go to hell, and I don’t want that to happen to you, so please go and vote.”

Ben Shapiro's Life on High Alert After Disturbing Threats Surface

Ben Shapiro's Life on High Alert After Disturbing Threats Surface

A Kansas wacko is behind bars after allegedly threatening to kill conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro, who opened up about daily security concerns in a new interview.Korby Allen Strube, 29, was arrested recently by Florida police for allegedly posting a spree of vile antisemitic threats on X, including a menacing countdown to Yom Kippur and insinuations something would happen to Shapiro on the Jewish holiday.Korby Allen Strube was arrested for threatening conservative podcaster Ben Shapiro. Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office“I’m going to kill be Shapiro and hes not gonna be a-live,” read a July 31 post, with a deluge of menace pouring across Strube’s X account over the following days, police records obtained by The Post showed.“I’ll kill you just the same. Go meet Jesus. 51 days left,” read another. “Die with Jesus … I’ll kill you just the same I guess. 52 days.”Others claimed Shapiro would be killed “for being Jewish,” or else called him a “stupid jew,” with police determining the countdown to the supposed murder plot coincided with this year’s Yom Kippur dates. The threats weren’t just reserved for Shapiro – Strube allegedly named President Trump, the Obamas and suggested his social media behavior had somehow led to the death of Shapiro’s fellow conservative commentator Charlie Kirk. Ben Shapiro opened up about daily security concerns in a new interview. Getty ImagesThe posts were flagged to police by a security firm hired by Shapiro – who said the threats were “not veiled” and had a “level of gravity.”Officials quickly tracked the X account to an address near Topeka, where Strube was found living with his parents.Strube owned up to making the posts, police alleged, before launching a disturbed tale about government spies who were sending him messages through song lyrics and presidential addresses.Strube was arrested in Florida. Sabetha Community Hospital/Sabetha Family PracticeDespite the alarming statements, Strube’s parents insisted he had no history of mental illness, according to police. They also showed police the family gun safe, and said their son had no access to it.Strube — a former IT professional who police said had been unemployed and living with his parents the last two years — was arrested by Florida police and faces nearly a dozen charges of making threats to kill or cause bodily harm.News of the arrest broke shortly before a taped interview with Shapiro on CBN News was expected to air. Shapiro told the outlet that his career as a top conservative pundit had left his family living on guard for a decade.“I’ve had 24/7 security for the last 10 years,” said 42-year-old Shapiro, explaining security guards followed him and his family wherever they go every day.“Literally when I go to my kid’s basketball game I’ve got a couple security guards with me,” he added. “When I’m going to the grocery store I have to have security follow me to the grocery store. That’s just a reality of life.”

Why Witney Carson's 'Controversial' DWTS Take Is Turning Heads

Why Witney Carson's 'Controversial' DWTS Take Is Turning Heads

Witney Carson is sharing a “controversial” take about Dancing With the Stars. “Just from seeing everything online, I just wanted to give my two cents after being on this show for over a decade and watching it since I was 11,” Carson, 32, said in a video on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, September 16, one day after she and dance partner Guillermo Rodriguez received the lowest score of the DWTS season 35 premiere. “This is not a dance competition,” the choreographer continued. “Yes, of course, us pros take pride in, like, making the best dance possible, and we want our celebrities to become better. If it were truly a dance competition, every single celebrity would come into the competition with the same level of dance experience.” Carson pointed out that Rodriguez, 55, entered the show with zero dance experience, while cast members like Jenna Dewan and Harry Shum Jr. have a background in the sport. “So it isn't fair, and that's the point. The point is to vote for your favorite, and that's why the voting system is in place,” she argued. “So, just wanted to give my two cents. Remember, it is [to] vote for your favorite. If you love to watch dance and you love to watch good dancing, that's what you're gonna vote for.” During the premiere on Tuesday, September 15, Carson — who announced her pregnancy with her and Carson McCallister’s third baby one month before the season began — danced the cha-cha with Rodriguez to Jean Knight’s "Mr. Big Stuff.” Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough gave the duo a combined score of 10 out of 30. Though Carson and Rodriguez, who is known for being Jimmy Kimmel’s late night sidekick, were in the bottom three and at risk of elimination, audience votes saved the pair from going home. It was ultimately The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Conner Leavitt and partner Adele Zaikman whose journey on the show came to an end. (Influencer Connor Wood and partner Rylee Arnold were the other couple safe from elimination.) After the live episode, Carson and Rodriguez exclusively told Us how disappointed they were in the low score. “I think, [for] this cha-cha, we worked on so much,” Carson said. “We really worked on the timing and not rushing it. I think that you know there were bits where we were a little bit off, but he got right back on it and he listened to what I said.” She continued, “He followed my lead and he performed and he had fun, so honestly, that’s all I can ask for. I’m so proud. The judge’s scores were lame.” Rodriguez added, “I’m not too happy with the score, but listen, I listened to Witney. I felt like I’m at home. I gotta listen to my wife, I gotta listen to my partner. She said, ‘Look at me. Smile. Don’t rush it. Have fun. Enjoy.’ I say Dancing With the Stars is hard, but I passed the first week, so I don’t have nothing else to lose, nothing to prove. I’m here to stay. I’m here to work hard and do my best.” The two-night premiere of Dancing With the Stars continues on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET.

Austin Roest's Heartfelt Role in Girlfriend Milly Okabe's Cancer Battle

Austin Roest's Heartfelt Role in Girlfriend Milly Okabe's Cancer Battle

NHL prospect Austin Roest and his girlfriend, Milly Okabe, shared a heartbreaking update after she was diagnosed with stage IV cancer.  “They’ve said it’s incurable,” Okabe, 22, exclusively told Us on Tuesday, September 15. “However, I’m starting my treatment already, and I’m going to do everything I can health-wise and just keep fighting.” Okabe announced she was diagnosed with stage IV adenocarcinoma, a type of cancer that starts in the glands that line the organs, earlier this month.  “It was so unexpected,” Okabe recalled to Us. “Austin actually plays a big role in how I found out. I had some flu-like symptoms, so I went to the hospital. They thought it was just the flu, so they sent me home. But Austin looked at me and said, ‘This might be something else. I want you to get looked at further.’” Okabe shared that she and Roest, 22, went to “a couple of doctors who kind of said the same thing.” She was prescribed antibiotics for pneumonia and “lived my life completely fine for six weeks.” “I went back for a follow-up scan, and they saw that the pneumonia hadn’t quite cleared up, so that’s when they got the ball rolling,” Okabe explained. “They were like, ‘OK, let’s get a CT scan. But it’s probably nothing. It’s probably scar tissue from something else.’” She continued, “We do the CT scan, and they found a couple of masses in my lungs and chest. That’s how we found out.” Roest — who was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the sixth round of the 2023 NHL Draft — said his “gut instinct” about Okabe’s initial diagnosis inspired the couple to be proactive about what was really going on.  “When she gets sick, she gets really sick,” he told Us. “Not just normal flu, she’s in bed for quite a long time. That’s kind of what intrigued me to be like, ‘This might be something more than just the flu.’ When we went to the first doctor and he said it was a flu, I knew for sure it wasn’t that.” For now, Okabe said she’s doing her best to “feel good mentally.” “If you asked me a month ago, it probably wouldn’t be the same thing,” she acknowledged. “But I’ve just gotten so much support, it’s hard not to put a smile on my face. Austin has been so selfless and caring and amazing. When he’s off the ice, he’s always texting me like, ‘What can I do for you? Are you OK?’” A GoFundMe organized to support Okabe in her fight has raised nearly $70,000.  “It’s been quite overwhelming with hockey going on and stuff,” said Roest, who is currently participating in the Predators’ training camp. “But I think that’s kind of what’s helping me get through all of this, just seeing all of the support and all of the people reaching out. It’s been really cool.” Okabe said the reach of her story has been surprising “in the best way possible.” “I’ve received messages from people around the world,” she said. “Cancer survivors have reached out and given me advice and so much hope and faith. Everyone has been so kind.”
