Milania Giudice's Emotional Struggle After Friend's Tragic Death

Joe Giudice is standing by his daughter, Milania Giudice, amid a “very difficult” time in her life. “Milania is a good girl. She has a big heart, she loves deeply, and she cares enormously about the people in her life,” Joe, 54, said in a Thursday, September 24, statement to Page Six after video footage emerged of Milania in a tense airport exchange with mom Teresa Giudice and sister Gia Giudice earlier this week. Joe said, “She is also young and going through a very difficult period right now.” According to the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum, Milania, 20, is still in mourning over the sudden death of her best friend, Victoria Zardoya. Zardoya, who was 20, died in July after falling from the ruins of Fort Dade on Egmont Key, Florida. “Losing someone you love is incredibly painful, and grief does not have a timeline. She has been trying to process that loss while also dealing with the pressures that come with growing up in the public eye,” Joe said. “I know my daughter. I know her heart, and I know that what people may see from the outside does not tell the whole story of what someone is experiencing privately,” he continued. “There have been difficult moments, but those moments do not define who Milania is as a person.” Joe concluded, “I love my daughter, and I will always stand beside her.” As well as Milania and Gia, 25, Joe shares daughters Gabriella, 21, and Audriana, 17, with ex-wife Teresa, also 54. (Joe and Teresa divorced in 2020 and Teresa got remarried to Luis “Louie” Ruelas in 2022.) On Thursday, Milania’s representative told TMZ that the young reality star was receiving professional care following the incident at Tampa International Airport. “She is currently surrounded by people who love her and is under the care of professionals who are working with her and her family,” rep Marina DeSantis said. “Milania is deeply loved by her family and friends, and all of us are doing everything we can to support her as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life, particularly following the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria,” the statement continued. “Milania is a good-hearted and caring young woman who has been going through a very challenging period, and our focus right now is simply on her health, healing and well-being,” DeSantis said. “In time, she hopes that being open about her experiences may help other young people facing their own struggles, but for now, we ask for compassion and privacy as she and her family continue to navigate this together.” In May, Milania was arrested over an alleged domestic violence incident at her mother’s home in Montville Township, New Jersey. She pleaded not guilty to simple assault and purposely/knowingly causing bodily injury. Her next hearing is set for Tuesday, September 29. The leaders of an unrecognized University of Wisconsin fraternity were arrested after cops found around 30 partially clothed teen pledges smeared in condiments and huddled in a sweltering, filthy basement.Fraternity president Brayden J. Klein and vice president Samuel N. Vane, both 20, were arrested Wednesday for misdemeanor hazing and misdemeanor disorderly conduct after police discovered the troubling scene while acting on an anonymous tip.Cops found 30 partially dressed fraternity pledges huddled in a filthy basement, covered in food and other liquids, and some showing signs of having been physically assaulted, police said. Madison Police DepartmentPolice entered the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity house in Madison around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, and found the men, some of whom had “visible injuries consistent with being physically assaulted,” covered in food, condiments and other liquids, according to the incident report.The room was muggy and overheated because a thermostat had been set to a sweltering 81 degrees, police said.Two men were arrested following the suspected hazing incident at an unrecognized University of Wisconsin-Madison fraternity. WKOWEveryone inside the home was escorted outside by police, and the pledges — the “vast majority” of whom were 18 years old — were checked for incapacitation and injuries.Police described the fraternity as an “unrecognized and unaccredited” student organization, which was “terminated” by U of W more than a decade ago.“UW–Madison is fully committed to preventing and addressing hazing and takes all incidents involving our community seriously,” the university said in a statement Thursday.“Any student determined to be in violation of law, regulation, or university policy may be subject to sanctions according to Wis. I was like, ‘Anything you say, just yes!’” Gia, 25, and Alexia share a bond not just because their respective moms, Teresa Giudice and Kyle Richards, are Real Housewives OGs but also because they both competed on Special Forces with a parent. In season 4, Gia took on the grueling Special Forces selection course alongside Teresa, 54, whereas Alexia is competing in the Malaysian jungle in season 5 with her dad, Mauricio Umansky. “[Gia] was just so reassuring. I wanted to call her since she won,” Alexia explained to Us. “I thought, ‘This is the perfect person to [ask for advice].’ We share some parts of our life. We both grew up with our moms being who they are, icons. I called her and she was so sweet, so reassuring. I was so scared. I was very, very nervous.” She continued, “Actually, I never get homesick, but when I left my house to go to Malaysia, I cried in the car to the airport. I was not well. … Gia, when I called her … she calls me babe and it makes me feel at home. [I knew] it’s going to be OK. She seemed like she really loved the experience, and that’s what made me feel instantly relieved.” Gia previously shared with Us some of the advice she offered Alexia before cameras rolled on Special Forces season 5. “[Alexia] was like, ‘Give me the lowdown from start to finish,’ and I did,” Gia, 25, exclusively told Us in August. “I was like, ‘The physical aspect of it was the hardest part for me.’ I felt like my body was crumbling. But then as you keep going on, I was like, ‘Alexia, we’re young, so yes, it was really hard for me in the beginning, but each day I genuinely felt my body getting stronger and stronger.’ So then, by the end, it’s more of a mental thing than a physical thing.” Gia wasn’t the only one offering the Umanskys guidance on Special Forces — they also had a private session with life coach Tony Robbins to get them in the right headspace for the competition. “We had a session with Tony Robbins,” Mauricio, 56, told Us. “I called him up and I asked him to do this with us. He did a little Zoom session just to get us mentally prepared. He was amazing. He definitely helped us get mentally prepared, talked about creating mantras. …. Her followers were quick to share their mixed opinions in the comments section. “God forbid we use our breasts for their intended purposes. ��,” one commented. Another added, “If men can walk around shirtless, women can too. Also most important thing is that baby is fed… I’m not going to starve my baby just so I can find a private place to feed her. ��‍♀️.” While some couldn't have agreed more, others preferred more of a “modest” approach. “I do agree but I also enjoy being modest at the same time. I think they can both exist,” one shared. “My ‘problem’ is when your whole boob is out without any type of modesty at all. I know it’s a hot take, a fed baby is the best baby, I just think a little ‘class’ wouldn’t hurt either. Just my opinion.” A second social media user had similar thoughts, writing, “Breastfeeding is natural, of course, but for me, that doesn’t mean intimate parts of the body need to be exposed in public. You can breastfeed while still keeping yourself covered.” McKnight welcomed Archie in January 2025 with her husband Dakota Blackburn. She and Blackburn met while filming a “10 dates in 10 days” series for her YouTube channel in August 2020. The pair started dating in the spring of 2021. The following year, Dakota got down on one knee and proposed to McKnight. They quickly planned their wedding and tied the knot in September 2022. For their nuptials, they had an intimate ceremony at a venue in the California redwoods. McKnight stunned in an off-the-shoulder A-line dress with a tulle skirt adorned with lace embellishments. And … the record is bereft of any relevant ‘formally articulated standards’ in place before any of the conduct for which Defendants revoked their hard passes,” wrote Kelly, adding that a Tuesday letter the White House sent to all three outlets laying out their complaints was “so vague it hardly does the trick.”US District Judge Tim Kelly ordered President Trump to restore White House access for CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, blocking his unconstitutional ban.“This is a strong ruling vindicating freedom of the press, due process and the rule of law,” Theodore Boutrous Jr., attorney for the outlets, told the Associated Press in an emailed statement. “We greatly appreciate the court’s swift action.”“It took almost no time at all for a federal judge to reaffirm a constitutional principle which has been settled law for a half century: When the White House opens the briefing room to the press, the Bill of Rights comes in, too. The president can’t ban reporters from the White House because he doesn’t like the stories they write,” Daniel Burnett, a spokesman for the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, told The Post. “The First Amendment freedom to write ‘negative stories’ about our elected leaders is what’s right with America, not what’s ‘wrong’ with it.“America is not better off with presidents treating press credentials as rewards for softball questions and fawning coverage. Parenthood looks a little different for Vice President JD Vance and wife Usha Vance while raising their fourth baby. “He has a Secret Service detail. None of our newborns had that before,” Usha, 40, said of their 2-month-old son, Alec, in an interview with Daily Wire published on Tuesday, September 22. “It’s sort of an absurdity because he’s always attached to me,” the second lady admitted. “He’s never anywhere far from me.” Alec is the first baby born to a sitting vice president in more than 150 years, succeeding Schuyler Colfax III, who was born to Vice President Schuyler Colfax and his wife, Ellen Wade Colfax, during Ulysses S. Grant’s presidency in 1870. “It’s different to wonder whether people are watching when you’re struggling with some of the things that any parent of any newborn struggles with,” Usha said of raising Alec in the public eye. “But people have been really wonderful about it.” She continued, “Either they don’t notice me because I think it’s sort of an unexpected thing to be in their bagel shop or coffee shop or library or whatever — they’re not looking for me in that kind of environment. And when they have noticed, it’s only been to be congratulatory, say something sweet about the baby, that sort of thing.” Usha and JD, 42, announced in January that they were expecting baby No. 4. But then they go out of their way to make sure that he can be there at breakfast.” Usha concluded, “It’s basically the same JD who was the father of the first three is the father of the fourth, and he’s just as involved. I’m now getting dropped off to work…because I don’t want to be outside on my own. Her death has been ruled an accident. "The cause of death has been ruled as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol and Quetiapine," the coroner’s official statement said, per Variety . "The manner of death has been ruled accident." Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid, while 4-ANPP is a chemical intermediate used in the illegal manufacture of fentanyl. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine sold as Xanax. Methocarbamol is a prescription muscle relaxant, and quetiapine is an antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Family and co-stars gathered for the memorial Around a month after her death, Panettiere was remembered at a memorial service in Malibu attended by family, friends, and former co-stars. Her father was among those present at Malibu Pacific Church, while several of her Nashville co-stars, including Connie Britton, Jonathan Jackson and Sam Palladio, also attended. Ruby Rose, Evan Ross, Beverly D'Angelo, Storm Santos, Caroline D'Amore, Cameron Richardson, and Paris Hilton also attended to pay tribute. Panettiere’s estranged mother, Lesley Vogel, was not at the memorial. TMZ initially reported that Vogel had not been invited, although a source close to her later denied that claim and said she had been unable to attend because of a last-minute family emergency.
