Dancing With the Stars' Super Bowl Night: What Fans Can Expect

Dancing With the Stars' Super Bowl Night: What Fans Can Expect

Dancing With the Stars is bringing the turf to the ballroom with its first-ever Super Bowl Night. The theme was announced during Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 30, with ABC revealing that the ballroom dance competition will host a night of legendary proportions honoring the “music, spectacle and unforgettable moments of the big game.” Super Bowl Night will kick off on Tuesday, October 13, with the remaining couples taking the dance floor for routines set to songs performed during halftime at the annual NFL championship game. The exciting new theme is a nod to Disney’s upcoming integration plan with ABC and ESPN, which will air this season’s Super Bowl on Sunday, February 14, 2027. While fans have to wait some time to see which two football teams will face off at the big game, DWTS viewers will see their favorite dancers competing again next week for Mariah Carey Night. The remaining duos include, Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik, Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess, Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy, Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas, Ciara Miller and Brandon Armstrong, Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson, Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa, Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold and Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson following another surprising elimination on Tuesday, September 29. Taylor Hanson and Britt Stewart were sent home on Yacht Rock Night after receiving a 18 out of 30 score from the judges for their foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by The Doobie Brothers. "This has been everything. This has been incredible. She's showed me things I didn't think was possible and I'm so grateful for this time," Hanson said as Stewart added, "Taylor, I am so grateful that I now have you in my life. Thank you so much for everything. You are amazing." Conner Leavitt and partner Adele Zaikman, were previously sent home during week one, along with Sarah Jane Nader and partner Hailey Bills. Giada De Laurentiis and her pro, Alan Bersten, were eliminated during week two. As the season continues, viewers will be treated to Super Bowl Night during week five of the competition series, followed by Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 20, and Horror Movie Night on Tuesday, October 27, just in time for Halloween later that week. The previously announced themes for November include Disney Night and Grammy Night before the semi-finals and finale set for Tuesday, November 24. Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Pasha Pashkov Admits Pushing Too Hard Before Amber Glenn's Accident

Pasha Pashkov Admits Pushing Too Hard Before Amber Glenn's Accident

Dancing With the Stars pro Pasha Pashkov is taking responsibility for his bloody rehearsal injury with celebrity partner Amber Glenn. “A huge part of it was my fault,” Pashkov, 40, exclusively told Us after the Tuesday, September 29, live broadcast. “This is the reason: it's because we had a good run. We did a good run, beginning to end, and it's one of those where you have 10 minutes left of the rehearsal, just leave and get some rest. And I was like, ‘Let's do it one more time,’ and you need to know when to stop and when enough is enough.” Before Pashkov and Glenn’s foxtrot across the ballroom floor, the 26-year-old Olympic skater accidentally hit her partner in the face during their rehearsals. “It wasn't like [the] last day [before the live show]. We still had a couple days left,” he explained to Us. “I didn't know when to stop. I pushed it one too many times, and I got what I deserved.” Glenn, for her part, felt equally bad over the incident. “No, you couldn't have known,” she told Us on Tuesday, addressing her pro partner. “He's hard on himself.” Pashkov and Glenn were able to overcome his nose injury, scoring an impressive 24 out of 30 for their Yacht Rock Night routine to Toto’s “Hold the Line.” “We went first tonight, which was very different for us. It was a new experience for me,” Glenn added of the performance. “Pasha knows what he's doing, obviously, or else he wouldn't be a pro. So I just followed him, trusted it, and, yeah, I'm just excited to get on to next week. He's done a fantastic job.” Pashkov and Glenn’s elegant number even impressed the choreographer’s wife, Daniella Karagach. “Him and Amber are so unreal,” Karagach, 33, told Us in a separate Tuesday interview, adding that her husband still “looks hot” despite the unexpected facial injury. “This kind of stuff happens. Amber felt so bad, she texted me right away and I was like, ‘Girl.’ It's the worst feeling in the world, and I know exactly how she felt because there's just nothing you can do in a moment, and you want to help. She is the sweetest soul, and she sent him a bunch of candy and flowers. She is just the sweetest, and I was like, ‘Dancing is a contact sport.’” Both Pashkov and Glenn, as well as Karagach and Ezra Frech, will return for next week’s Mariah Carey theme night. Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Inside Putin's Secret Bunker: The Ominous Upgrades Raising Global Tensions

Inside Putin's Secret Bunker: The Ominous Upgrades Raising Global Tensions

See more of our coverage in your search results. Russian President Vladimir Putin has been quietly upgrading a secret, Cold War-era command center deep inside a mountain that can withstand American bunker-buster bombs and guarantee mutually assured destruction in the event of nuclear war.A recent investigation into the Kremlin bunker at Kosvinsky Kamen mountain, in the Urals 800 miles east of Moscow, revealed that the Russian Ministry of Defense has been working on a major modernization project at the site since 2018, according to The Sunday Times, Danwatch, and Dossier Center. The deep-dive included the first images from inside the doomsday bunker, known as Facility 1335, which included an ominous staging area covered in posters of missiles, explosions, and Russian troops. Russian President Vladimir Putin has been upgrading a secret command center beneath the Kosvinsky Kamen mountain. AP Photo/Dmitri LovetskyFacility 1335 was among the bomb-proof shelters that were built across Russia during the Cold War as part of the Kremlin’s Perimeter system, known as Dead Hand in the West, which was put in place so that Moscow’s nuclear forces could be activated no matter what in the event of an atomic war. Kosvinsky Kamen is buried under more than 1,000 feet of solid granite, meaning it is protected from America’s current arsenal of penetrating, bunker-buster bombs. While little was known about the base since its construction in the 1970s, the new report revealed that the facility has at least 24 underground rooms, with sprawling tunnels measuring some 1.5 miles away from the entrances. One undated image from inside the tunnels shows a person standing in the massive hallway with no end in sight and tire tracks behind them. Mount Kosvinsky Kamen harbors a Cold War-era base capable of withstanding nuclear war and America’s strongest bunker-buster bombs. Evgeny – stock.adobe.comA slew of new procurement contracts related to Facility 1335, dated between 2018 and 2024, also suggest the Kremlin is working to upgrade the facility to withstand a modern war. The contracts included 24,000 tons of steel, more than 62,000 tons of cement, around 372 miles of electrical cable, 21 electrical substations, 160 ventilation units, 95 pieces of heavy machinery, and 648 drilling tools.Russia has been upgrading its air defense system and testing new long-range missiles linked to its nuclear program in recent years. REUTERSSome of the ventilation units brought in were designed to protect against radioactive dust, with the Kremlin also bringing in new blast-resistant equipment and communication systems into the bunker. Satellite images also revealed repair and construction work across different segments of the bunker, including the construction of new entrances between 2022 and 2025. The equipment being brought in likely means that Russia is digging even deeper to expand the facility and reinforcing its defenses, Tom Roseth, expert in Russian security policy at the Norwegian Staff College, told The Times.“The expansion of Facility 1335 follows a major upgrade of Russia’s nuclear forces, which has been given high priority within the Russian armed forces,” Roseth said. “The Perimeter will once again be given priority now, in a more tense geopolitical situation in which Russia sees itself as being in conflict with the West,” he added.

Sister's Unwavering Act of Love Saves Brother's Life with Kidney Donation

Sister's Unwavering Act of Love Saves Brother's Life with Kidney Donation

A sister stepped in to save her brother’s life after donating her kidney to him – after he was diagnosed with a rare condition.Harry Ware, 22, was at university in London when he began suffering from bad cramps and needing the toilet more than usual.By the time he reached his third year, he was skipping parties to sleep and could not stand up without becoming breathless. After a blood test in January 2025, he was taken straight to A&E due to his risk of fainting and was admitted to the hospital.Rachel and Harry Ware are pictured at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNSRachel and Harry Ware show their scars in a photo released on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNSFive days later, he was diagnosed with Alport syndrome – an inherited kidney disease caused by an abnormality of collagen in the body.Harry’s kidney function was at just 5%, and he required a transplant, with sister Rachel, 24, confirmed as a viable donor. After a 10-month donor assessment process, the procedure went ahead on July 23, 2026, and Harry now has his “life back.”Harry was diagnosed with Alport syndrome – an inherited kidney disease caused by an abnormality of collagen in the body. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNSHarry, a student from Stockport, Greater Manchester, says: “I guess some people might find it odd, but Rachel and I never had that conversation.“She never asked if I wanted her kidney and I never asked to have it.“She spoke to my mom about it and just texted me saying she wanted to do it.“Before the surgery, Rachel was the only person I felt 100% comfortable talking to about it all.“I couldn’t have wanted a better person to go through it with.“The biggest relief is not having to have dialysis anymore, as it started to rule my life.“It’s a really weird feeling to be able to think, ‘Oh, I don’t have to go and sit in a chair for hours now.“The day is my own to use.’“It feels like I have my life back.”Sister Rachel, who works in operational communications, was traveling in Asia when she received the news that Harry had gone into kidney failure. The pair’s younger brother Oliver, now 18, offered to donate, but was deemed too young.“After that, they said my medical history suggested I might be viable, so I became the primary donor,” Rachel said.“There was zero pressure from anyone in the family.“It was very much our decision to make and the family supported whatever that decision would be.“It all felt very quick.Harry is pictured before he became ill. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNS“He’d never been poorly before, so going from messages saying he was unwell to being diagnosed with kidney failure in a matter of weeks was a shock.“Our family’s outlook was simply, ‘What can we do to help?’“We looked at getting on the donor list as soon as possible, and I did loads of reading about other people’s stories online.”After the 10-month donor assessment, the surgery was able to go ahead on July 23, 2026, and Lisa Mulreid, a living donor transplant co-ordinator at Manchester Royal Infirmary, says the pair were “fantastic to work with.”“In the build-up to the procedure, the pair sat by each other’s bedside without fear,” she says.Surgeons begin the kidney transplant procedure. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNSHarry and Rachel even watched their surgery back together after it had gone ahead.“Surgery was quite an overwhelming idea, as I’d never had an operation and rarely went to hospital,” Rachel says.“Seeing my kidney in the pre-operative scans and then in the recorded footage was crazy.“I actually had a really nice but emotional moment with my mom when we watched the footage back in the car.Rachel and Harry are pictured before he became ill. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNS“It was really interesting to see how many people are involved in a transplant procedure.“There were a couple of people operating on me whom I remembered walking past in corridors, and it was cool to see them then operating on me.“I feel lucky to have been able to experience it this way.“I couldn’t believe the moment where my kidney is in Harry and it suddenly comes to life.“It’s all been worth it for moments like that or seeing Harry walking okay again.“I was looking at my scar the other day and thought it’s pretty cool that Harry now has a bit of me in him.“We’ve been wondering whether he’ll also get my mood swings.“It is weird to think he has a piece of me in him, but I look at my scar, and it’s also like I have a piece of Harry with me forever.“Almost like a tattoo to remind me of him.”“It is weird to think he has a piece of me in him, but I look at my scar, and it’s also like I have a piece of Harry with me forever,” Rachel said. Manchester NHS Foundation Trust / SWNSAs the organ recipient, recovery has been more challenging for Harry, but he is recovering well.He said: “Recovery has been tough in that I have to be cautious about potential infection.“I haven’t even hugged my mom yet.“At one point it did look like my body might be rejecting Rachel’s kidney.“I couldn’t bear to tell her after all we had been through.“But my kidney function is at 67% and it keeps jumping up every day.”

Brian Austin Green Shares Emotional Struggles Amid Sharna Burgess' DWTS Return

Brian Austin Green Shares Emotional Struggles Amid Sharna Burgess' DWTS Return

Brian Austin Green got real about his mental health highs and lows while navigating a hard couple of days amid fiancée Sharna Burgess’ return to Dancing With the Stars. “It is 9:05 p.m. I am at the mall by myself. I’m gonna watch a movie by myself,” Green, 53, shared in a somber Instagram video posted Saturday, September 26. “[I] just haven’t had a good couple of days, and I think it’s important to share that.” The Beverly Hills, 90210, alum noted, “We have a lot of great days, and then some days you have not so much. But we persevere, you know. We get through it. It'll be OK.” As Green sat outside alone, he told his fans, “I just wanted to share with everyone that life does not stop f***ing lifing. It is unpredictable. It is challenging. Welcome to it. We all have these days, but we can be OK.” The actor, who shares son Zane, 4, with Burgess, 41, concluded his video by wishing everyone a good weekend. “Solo movie night to ‘heart of the beast’. ‍♂️Trust that life gets hard for everyone sometimes. You’ll be ok❤️,” Green captioned the post. The Hollywood Hells star received an outpouring of love and support on his upload, and he was quick to thank his followers for being a bright light. “Thank you all for the kind words,” he wrote in the comments section. “I’m reminded daily that life is a crazy roller coaster. What’s in our control is who we choose to be during it. It always gets better .” Green gave an additional update on his mental state the next morning in a second video, which he captioned, “September is National Suicide Prevention month!! With the sunrise comes a new day. Thank you for reaching out and caring.” In the Sunday, September 27, clip, Green was visibly more upbeat as he walked around his backyard and took in the “beautiful” sky. “Hey everybody. It's Sunday morning. Yesterday, last night, not a great one for me as you've seen,” he began the Instagram video before pointing up to the clouds. “But, look at this. The sun always rises. It always rises. And I feel exponentially better today." The “Oldish” podcast cohost admitted he “fell asleep” during the movie and left early, noting he was feeling much better since then. “My God, we all go through it sometimes, all of us,” Green — who has been engaged to Burgess since 2023 — said. “The difference is when you hang in there, when you stick through it, the sun rises the next morning. Things change, feelings change, situations change.” He ended the message by thanking “everyone who reached out to make sure I was OK. I really appreciate it.” While Green didn’t explicitly mention why he was feeling down over the weekend, some fans wondered if it could be because Burgess is busy on DWTS and therefore Green has been spending more time solo — or with their son. (Green also shares sons Noah, 13, Bodhi, 12, and Journey, 10, with ex-wife Megan Fox as well as son Kassius, 24, with ex Vanessa Marcil.) Burgess, for her part, shared a poignant message about mental health on Saturday during a brief break from the competition. “DWTS has taught me so much about pushing myself, but I’ve also learned how important it is to take care of my mental health along the way,” she captioned the Instagram video, sitting outside her and Green’s home before the kids got back from school. (The video most likely was filmed on Friday, September 25.) Burgess explained that through therapy, she’s been able to better juggle her career and home life. “Having someone to talk to and work through things with has been such an important part of my journey,” she added. Erika Kirk Breaks Silence on Charlie Kirk's Controversial Racism Accusations

Erika Kirk Breaks Silence on Charlie Kirk's Controversial Racism Accusations

Erika Kirk danced around the accusations that her late husband, Charlie Kirk, was a racist. “I want to be very careful and very genuine in my response,” Erika, 37, told Vanity Fair in an interview published on Tuesday, September 29. “I don’t want to just give you a response and not have actually watched it.” During her latest interview, Erika was asked to comment on a quote Charlie was often cited for before his death in September 2025 at the age of 31. “It’s happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact,” Charlie once claimed. “It’s happening more and more.” Erika later told the publication that she watched the clip of Charlie making the statement, which was in reference to a viral 2023 video of a pregnant white woman harassing a group of Black men over a Citi Bike rental. She claimed Charlie’s words had been taken out of context. In a separate interview with CBS News in December 2025, Erika explained, “Charlie didn’t care what skin color you were. He didn’t care what religion you were. He loved excellence. He loved knowing that people worked hard to earn what they got.” As the mother of two continues her role as the chairwoman and CEO of Turning Point USA, Erika shared brief insight into her own political views ahead of the midterm elections. After telling Vanity Fair she “voted similarly” to her husband, Erika was asked whether she believes the 2020 election was stolen from President Donald Trump when he lost to Joe Biden. “My husband’s the type of person, and I am the same way, that when something is decided, no matter — even in a sports game, no matter if you win or you lose — you have to play the next game,” she said. “So are you going to sit and just think about that past game, or are you going to go back out on the field and start practicing for the next game? How we are wired is you go back out on the field and you start practicing.” When asked about the Second Amendment, Erika said, “If somebody wants to murder someone, they will find a way to do it. And they will find the way that is the most convenient. It’s a human-soul problem, not a Second Amendment problem.” Ultimately, Erika said her political beliefs run through a “biblical lens” as she tries to live a life that will take her to heaven. “Will this bring me closer to heaven or further away from it? I am so fixated and paranoid about having anything keeping me from going to heaven to be reunited with my husband,” she said. “If you love God and you love your family and you love your country, can’t you just be called an American?”

iPhone 18 Pro Buyers Shocked by Mysterious Color Change

iPhone 18 Pro Buyers Shocked by Mysterious Color Change

See more of our coverage in your search results. This isn’t the color of money.Despite costing over $1,000, the new iPhone 18 Pro is sending some shoppers into buyer’s remorse, with reports that the so-called state-of-the-art devices are beginning to fade.Apple fans have taken to social media to complain that the $1,199 device, which dropped on September 18, was showing signs of discoloration around the three rear cameras. The color drain was particularly pronounced in Burgundy and Black models.“Hey everyone, I noticed that the area around my camera lenses looks slightly lighter/pinkish compared to the surrounding camera housing,” declared one user. “There is no oil, residue, or dirt on the phone, and I’ve cleaned the area carefully. I’m also not seeing any scratches, dents, or physical damage.”The discoloration primarily affected the lens area. Andy Lockhart / FacebookAn accompanying photo showed the Burgundy phone’s triple lenses ringed with slightly pink halos. “I have the same thing on Burgundy Pro Max,” declared another. “Everyone that’s saying you just need to wipe it off is wrong, it does not wipe off. It’s a discoloration on the unit.”Others claimed their iPhones were unintentionally two-toned upon arrival, ruling out the effects of normal wear and tear or improper cleaning. “My black iPhone 18 Pro Max came in the exact same way,” complained one bummed-out customer.“Mine looks exactly the same,” lamented another. “It was that way out of the box. I figured I would clean it off when I got home. The stains are not going away, no matter what I’ve done.”Reddit users claimed that the discoloration wasn’t due to normal wear and tear. Reddit / Low_Midnight_2601Some said they’d already requested a full refund. “Mine is horrible. Already on its way back to Apple,” wrote one dissatisfied techhead.Coincidentally, customers who’d bought the silver or pale blue “glacier” models didn’t report any pigment problems. The defect affected the Burgundy and Black versions, according to users. ZUMAPRESS.comThis isn’t the first time an iPhone has caused a pigment panic.Apple customers complained that the iPhone 17 Pro‘s Cosmic Orange model had changed to pink within weeks of its debut. Why?AppleInsider chalked up this defect to the colorization process. Both the 17s and the iPhone 18 Pros undergo anodization, which involves submersion in an electrolytic bath to form a porous aluminum oxide layer. This infuses the structure with the pigment, theoretically creating a coat that won’t come off.Meanwhile, an improperly applied seal can leave Apple devices susceptible to contaminants such as water or skin oils, any of which can affect the hue. Some leakers claimed that Apple had failed to address the problem, suggesting that future models — such as the iPhone 18 — would be vulnerable as well.

Lark Voorhies' Heartfelt Tribute to 'Saved by the Bell' Co-star Dennis Haskins

Lark Voorhies' Heartfelt Tribute to 'Saved by the Bell' Co-star Dennis Haskins

Saved by the Bell’s Lark Voorhies is the first cast member to react to the death of late costar Dennis Haskins. “Knowing Dennis Haskins for almost 40 years has been one of the truest blessings of my life, which makes losing him hurt so deeply,” the actress, 52, wrote via Instagram late Monday, September 28. Voorhies continued, “We shared so much history together from our earliest days, and through it all, he remained a fabulous person, a loyal friend, and someone with such a kind, gentle heart. I am truly heartbroken by his passing and will miss his warmth and laughter more than words can say. Rest in peace, Dennis, you will always hold a special place in my heart.” Voorhies played spoiled student Lisa Turtle on the hit NBC sitcom, which aired between 1989 and 1993, and followed a group of students at the fictional Bayside High School. She was among the show’s core teenage cast, starring alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, the late Dustin Diamond, Tiffany Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley. Haskins was best known for playing Principal Richard Belding, a role he originated on the short-lived Disney Channel series Good Morning, Miss Bliss, on the hit show. He reprised the role in Saved by the Bell: The New Class, which aired from 1993 to 2000. Haskins’ representative confirmed the actor’s death at age 75 in a statement to Us on Monday. “It’s a tragic loss,” his spokesperson said. “Everyone loved Mr. Belding and those of us who got to know Dennis loved him even more.” “[Dennis] was a great person, and he loved, I mean absolutely LOVED his fans,” his rep told Us. “He always had time for them, no matter what. He was my client and dear friend for over 20 years, and I will miss him terribly. I’m heartbroken.” “On Good Morning, Miss Bliss, I was just glad to have a job. It was a long seven-audition process,” Haskins told Parade in 2013. “I was in. I was out. And then, finally at the last minute, I got it. We were just happy to be working. We weren’t thinking in terms of how long we were going to go.” “One day [producer] Peter Engel came on the stage and said, ‘Ladies and gentlemen, Disney has chosen not to go on with the project. There’s a slight chance ABC will do something, but I just wanted to thank everybody.’ And then I started hearing things,” he recalled. “The prop guy came up to me and said, ‘Hey, Dennis. They just told us to save the sets.’ I found out that I was going on to Saved by the Bell because NBC had bought the rights to four characters, by the wardrobe guy telling me, ‘They told me to save your suits,’ and giving me a big thumbs up.”
