Getty Images“Some people just shouldn’t have children,” he said. “And I think she knew that … She was very, very immature and she wanted to be a star … She tried to be this palmist, this astrologist, this rumpologist [Jackie claimed to read fortunes from buttocks], she was a trapeze artist, she played piano, but she never reached out for her grandchildren or her children.”But it’s this lack of love that ultimately fueled Stallone, as he said, “It’s the ones that have all the issues that usually end up being the most creative.”Stallone’s new memoir, “The Steps” follows him from struggling artist to winning an Oscar for “Rocky.”Eventually, he said, “It got to the point where she just didn’t want to talk to me. So she died in isolation.“His father, Frank Sr., was similarly unemotional. “My father waited till his deathbed to give advice on love,” Stallone said. “You’re 96, you’re dying. In 2012, Stallone’s eldest son, Sage, whom he shared with his first wife, Sasha Czack, died suddenly. Not like, Can I help you? Nothing. He stayed until he was 6.Damage to a facial nerve during his birth left him with his now-famous crooked mouth and permanent slur, and the kids at each new school were not kind.By 16, he’d gone through 12 schools in Philadelphia and was sent to Devereux, an institution for troubled teens in Berwyn, Pa.Stallone was an avid artist and writer and spent hours writing scripts — including one about American writer and poet, Edgar Allan Poe — in his New York walk-up apartment.At 17, he was sent to the Snake Pit, the school’s bleak punishment block — “basically a mental hospital doing double duty as a solitary confinement detention hall,” he reveals for the first time in the book.Some young men sat in their own feces, while others bore lobotomy scars.There, Stallone was assaulted by a huge, naked inmate nicknamed Jay Bird, who “clawed at my penis like he wanted to rip it off.Stallone now stars in the Paramount show, “Tulsa King,” produced by Taylor Sheridan. Penn Badgley’s wife, Domino Kirke, is clapping back at claims that she’s responsible for the actor cutting back on filming sex scenes. In an Instagram video shared Monday, September 28, Kirke, 42, said she continues “to get DMs about this thing that happened three years ago,” referring to an article about Badgley, 39, explaining his decision to abstain from intimate scenes. Kirke noted that with “the characters that my husband has played over the years, people have come to expect that he will continue to play that guy,” acknowledging Badgley’s risqué scenes in You and Gossip Girl. “I was super happy for him and very proud of him because I understood how major it was,” said Kirke, a professional doula. “And yeah, it's just relational hygiene.” However, that hasn’t stopped people from flooding Kirke’s DMs, prompting a more direct response. “I want to say to those of you who still DM me about my husband deciding to do this for himself and his mental health, like, get over it,” she said. Kirke captioned the post, “A few years ago, the internet decided I’d asked my husband to stop doing sex scenes. The truth is, my husband decided to do this for his own mental health reason. After working in the industry since he was just 12 years old, believe me, it was time.” Kirke noted similarities between her work as a caregiver and her husband’s work as an entertainer. “Caregivers are so ready to be invisible, collapse, disappear, or take direction no matter what. They’re constantly allowing folks to blaze past their boundaries, all in the spirit of being accommodating or, in my husband’s case, entertaining,” she wrote. “They’re OK with being forgettable. Sometimes I ask people what their doula's name was, and they’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t remember!’ So finally, after years of trying, Penn decided to take a stand and let the world see him. And guess what … he hasn’t lost fans and he’s still getting hired!” Back in 2023, Badgley revealed that he requested fewer steamy scenes for his You character, Joe Goldberg, in the Netflix drama’s fourth season. “I asked [the creator of the show] Sera Gamble, ‘Can I just do no more intimacy scenes?'” the actor said on an episode of his “Podcrushed” podcast. “Fidelity in every relationship, and especially my marriage, is really important to me.” “I said to Sera, ‘My desire would be zero, to go from 100 to zero,’” he explained at the time. “But I signed this contract, I signed up for this show, I know what I did. You can’t take this aspect out of the DNA of the concept, so, ‘How much less can you make it?’ was my question for them.” According to Badgley, Gamble "didn't even bat an eye. She was really glad that I was that honest, and she had a really positive response. She appreciated my directness, and she appreciated that I was being reasonable and practical. And they came back with a phenomenal reduction.” However, for the show’s fifth and final season, which aired in 2025, Badgley said he understood the need for more physically intimate scenes with his costars. “I had to throw that out the window,” he told People in April 2025. “And as I always said, ‘My desire is that least as possible, but if it’s necessary, that’s the show we all signed up to make. So, let’s make sure it’s vital, let’s make sure it’s important, it’s deliberate.’ And we did.”

Don’t fork around with these New Yorkers!Pushed-to-the-limit NYC restaurateurs are faced with another battle in the fight for their financial lives — a growing scourge of dine-and-dash incidents. Throwing the perps into Instagram jail, it turns out, is a much quicker way to justice than ratting out tab-sentee customers to the cops.Britney Cariño, owner of Talavera Cantina in The Bronx’s trendy Mott Haven neighborhood, rushed to the restaurant’s social accounts last May, after a table of customers walked out on their $112 tab.The alleged terrible trio sauntered into the Mexican cocktail bar on Cinco de Mayo — the busiest day of the month, Cariño said. They ordered tacos, chips and guacamole and four frozen margaritas.After enjoying themselves, they apparently slipped out the door without paying the bill — during a power outage that had torpedoed the POS system tracking their checks. While reviewing payments processed offline, Cariño spotted the outstanding balance and caught the group red-handed on security footage.“One of the women, she takes the check tray and she actually puts it under her purse,” the second-generation business owner told The Post. “They look around again and then that’s when they leave.”Appalled over the fryjacking — her first in three years running Talavera — Cariño said she aired the diners’ dirty laundry on Instagram with a screen grab of the footage, letting them know that if they paid up, everything would be fine. “Dine-and-dashes have always existed, but the fact that now we can utilize social media…..you kind of bring back shame,” said Britney Cariño (pictured outside of Talavera Cantina).“My first instinct wasn’t to call the police because honestly, sometimes there’s nothing that police can do,” she said.To her surprise and delight, one of the perps’ older brothers quickly came in and covered the tab.“Dine-and-dashes have always existed, but the fact that now we can utilize social media … you kind of bring back shame,” she declared.John Truong of Long Island City Vietnamese restaurant Chef Papa is another New Yorker who hit back, after being left high-and-dry by a wannabe foodfluencer, who promised coverage in exchange for $200 worth of food and drinks. Fahmida Sultana, who Truong said left his staff only $6 as a tip before sauntering out the door, welched on the supposed deal — leaving him with little recourse but to air his frustrations in Instagram. “We trusted this person to come in to record a video and I feel like she scammed us,” Truong lamented in the clip, posted last November.“She changed her username or deleted her account,” said one viewer, while another wrote, “Time to call out all the so-called influencers.”It was only after his video that she finally responded — with a scathing and since-deleted review.Truong’s $200 is nothing, however, compared to NYC’s most famous recent eat-and-run case — that of dine-and-dash diva Pei “Lu” Chung, who was arrested seven times after stiffing Michelin-starred restaurants, including Peter Luger and Francie, out of hundreds of dollars. She was finally released over the winter after being declared psychologically unfit to stand trial.The phenomenon has rippled beyond city limits, with restaurants around the tri-state area tackling the problem on their own. UMI Hotpot Sushi & Seafood Buffet in The Bronx got so tired of diners prancing out without paying, that it began slapping up photos and unpaid receipts.“Stealing food without paying,” reads one of the impromptu mugshots’ captions, evoking a Chinatown store’s “pickpocketer” poster: dine-and-dash edition.Whether intentional or the result of a misunderstanding, restaurant owners certainly have the right to call the cops — theft of service is technically punishable in NYC by up to a year in jail. But a $100 restaurant loss, experts say, tends to get buried in a system overwhelmed by serious crime. Rice for NY Post“If the unpaid check is $75 or $150, a manager may have to decide whether it is worth stopping restaurant operations, calling police, waiting for officers, reviewing video, providing statements and potentially having employees participate later in the criminal-justice process,” he said. Many opt out. And restaurateurs’ reluctance to report tab-stainers means the extent to which the problem has exploded isn’t readily showing up in official crime stats, leaving much of the evidence anecdotal, Herrman explained.When asked for dine-and-dash arrest totals over the past five years, an NYPD spokesperson told The Post that the Department doesn’t track this data to that “level of specificity.”As hospitality lawyer Andreas Koutsoudakis put it to The Post, “Walking out on a $300 check is the same class of crime as jumping a turnstile” — a relatively minor offense.“On paper, it carries up to a year, but in practice it’s nothing,” Koutsoudakis explained.But even if the wheels of justice won’t turn for small businesses in peril, that doesn’t change the fact that seemingly negligible eat-and-run can be a bitter bill to swallow.“On a five-table business, that’s going to hurt .. plus the 20 percent lost tips to the server,” said Koutsoudakis, who used to run a restaurant in Tribeca. For instance, with independent restaurants typically clocking a pre-tax profit margin of 5%, they’d need around $2,000 in sales to generate a $112 pre-tax profit — equivalent to Talavera’s skipped check.The best course of action for victimized vittle vendors, per Herrman, is to retain surveillance footage, preserve the receipt, record employee testimony, and make a “timely police report.”He also stressed communicating with other businesses when there’s evidence of a repeat offender.“When multiple restaurants report essentially the same conduct by the same individual, investigators potentially have a pattern rather than a single isolated event,” Herrman said. “Plus, it lets “the public know this is not the community you’re going to be doing this to,” said Koutsoudakis.

Saved by the Bell actor Dennis Haskins has died. He was 75. “It’s a tragic loss,” his spokesperson confirmed to Us on Monday, September 28. “Everyone loved Mr. Belding and those of us who got to know Dennis, loved him even more.” Haskins originated the role of Bayside High School’s Principal Richard Belding on the short-lived teen comedy Good Morning, Miss Bliss in 1988 and was one of the few characters carried over when the Saturday morning sitcom was revamped as Saved by the Bell the following year. (Saved by the Bell aired from 1989 to 1993 on NBC.) “[Dennis] was a great person, and he loved, I mean absolutely LOVED his fans,” his rep told Us. “He always had time for them, no matter what. He was my client and dear friend for over 20 years, and I will miss him terribly. I’m heartbroken.” A cause of death has not yet been determined. (TMZ was first to report the news.) Haskins’ portrayal of Mr. Belding proved to be such a popular nemesis for smart aleck heartthrob Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) that the character took on more prominence on spinoff Saved By the Bell: The New Class, which ran from 1993 to 2000. The actor also reprised the iconic role as Mr. Belding for cameo appearances on the primetime spinoff Saved by the Bell: The College Years and the TV movie Saved by the Bell: Wedding in Las Vegas. Palvin and Sprouse have been together since June 2018. The couple got engaged in September 2022, though they did not publicly confirm the news until June 2023. The model and the actor subsequently tied the knot in her native Hungary in July 2023. Nearly three years later, Palvin revealed that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with Sprouse at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in May. She debuted her bump on the red carpet while stunning in an elegant light blue Miu Miu gown. That same day, Palvin and Sprouse confirmed her pregnancy via Instagram. In the first photo, they both placed their hands on her belly as they stared lovingly at each other. The second image featured a sonogram of a baby holding up the “rock hands” gesture, while the third picture showed the duo mimicking the symbol with their own hands. “������������,” they captioned the joint Instagram post at the time. Prior to her pregnancy, Palvin opened up about her struggles with endometriosis, a condition that causes tissue similar to the uterine lining to grow outside of the uterus and can lead to fertility issues. “For some years now, I’ve been dealing with the difficulties that can come with my periods. Fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow, sleepless nights on the bathroom floor,” she wrote via Instagram in August 2025. “I thought this was just how it works for me. But recently, I’ve been advised to seek out an endometriosis specialist to see whether my symptoms are caused by that.” She added, “I’ve been going to checkups to my gynecologist every year, I thought if I had endometriosis, I would have known about it by now, but as it turns out, endometriosis can’t be diagnosed with general examinations.” Palvin received an official endometriosis diagnosis after seeing a specialist. “Three months later, I got operated on,” she revealed. “Since then, I finally experienced a period that was easier, and now I know the difference. If you suspect that you could have endometriosis, I encourage you to find out. It helped me a lot, and I’m grateful I did it.” She continued, “Early diagnosis and treatment are very important to prevent long-term complications, and now I’m more mindful about my body to act fast if needed. That’s also why I took the past three months to rest and fully heal.” Palvin concluded that she was “excited about this new chapter of my life.” In October 2025, Sprouse showed support for Palvin by handing out endometriosis awareness pins on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show red carpet. “She was so strong to go through that herself, once she posted about it, which she was very nonchalant posting about something that happened to her, turns out a ton of people reached out to her. … Some people were even reaching out and saying, ‘I didn’t realize I had those symptoms until I got diagnosed from seeing you post about it,’” Sprouse told E! News at the time. “I’m hoping that if this is even a small measure of something we can do, then I hope it helps.” “She’s incredibly tough,” Sprouse added of Palvin. “And not just because she’s Hungarian, which they’re naturally pretty tough, but she’s particularly a tough cookie, and I’m proud to call her my wife.”

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Benjamin Satterley, better known to fans as Pac, has died at the age of 40. AEW announced the British wrestler’s death via its official website on Sunday, September 27. “All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the organization said in a statement. “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.” “Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history,” the statement continued. The company concluded, “Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.” No cause of death was provided. Satterley’s tragic death comes just one day after he competed for the AEW National Championship in the opening match of AEW’s All Out event in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Satterley lost to reigning champion Andrade El Idolo at the Now Arena on Saturday, September 26, at All Out, which was broadcast live on pay-per-view globally. In AEW, Pac held one-third of the AEW Trios Championship and was the inaugural AEW International Champion. He was part of the popular faction the Death Riders, alongside former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir.
