Perez Hilton has been transported to a Florida hospital after a disturbing livestream in which he appeared to commit self-harm, according to police. “The individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ, CNN and more in a statement late Tuesday, August 4. “The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual's family,” the statement added. While the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office did not name Hilton, 48, neighbors at the scene told NBC6 that they believe the person is Hilton. Earlier on Tuesday, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed it had “received multiple calls regarding an individual who was live-streaming acts of self-harm on social media.” “Deputies quickly located the individual’s residence, where they spoke with family members on scene and confirmed he was alone inside,” the sheriff’s department said in a statement to outlets including TMZ. The statement continued, “In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize deescalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication.” “At this time, deputies have tactfully disengaged while continuing to monitor the situation,” the statement concluded. During a TikTok livestream on Tuesday, Hilton appeared naked, covered in blood and seemingly committing acts of self-harm. His account has since been taken down. “We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client, Perez Hilton. At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further,” Hilton’s managers, Golden Artists Entertainment co-CEOs Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan, said in a statement to TMZ and Variety. “We appreciate everyone’s concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time.” Us has reached out to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office and Hilton’s management for further comment. For passengers on the budget Australian airline Jetstar, the days of cramming your bag into an overhead locker already full of your seatmates’ full-sized suitcases are coming to an end, but there’s a catch.The carrier will charge passengers for stowing carry-on bags in the overhead compartments, beginning in February 2027.The move came after passengers and airline staff named “having bags weighed at the gate and struggling to find room in overhead lockers as the more stressful parts of the airport experience,” the carrier said in a statement on Wednesday.Australian budget airline Jetstar will soon charge passengers to use overhead compartments for carry-on bags. But then we also saw some of those lunge feeds where it comes up out of the water,” St. Lawrence said.“These animals are here to put on weight, especially those juveniles. Keke Palmer is following in Carson Daly's footsteps for a new edition of The Voice. NBC officially announced The Voice: Celebrity on Tuesday, August 4, with Palmer, 32, hosting the latest addition to the fan-favorite franchise. Daly, 53, will serve as a producer. Joe Jonas will make his debut as a coach on the singing competition alongside Queen Latifah and Riley Green, who will also appear on season 30 of The Voice this fall. Like the original series fans have come to know and love, The Voice: Celebrity will search for undiscovered talent — this time from actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians and reality stars — to crown one champion at the end of the competition. The new series marks an unprecedented first as Daly has hosted The Voice for all 30 seasons over the last 15 years. The NBC hit kicks off its milestone 30th season on Monday, September 30, where Daly will emcee alongside returning coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson, as well as newcomers Latifah andGreen. After 28 seasons as host, Daly was given a special “Carson Callback Card” to give one artist who didn’t receive any chair turns in the Blind Auctions a redo. He bestowed the honor on rocker Ryan Mitchell, who ultimately made it on Team Reba McEntire. (Aiden Ross from Niall Horan’s team, however, won the trophy.) “We started a new twist,” the former TRL personality said on the Today show in September 2025. “I had the ability to give one of our artists a second chance. This season … there was a young man who caught my eye when he went out there. [He] was so close to getting a chair turn, [but] nothing happened; he didn’t make it. I still knew Ryan Mitchell deserved the first-ever ‘Carson Callback Card.’” In addition to The Voice, Daly also coanchors Today and hosts his own radio show. “The Voice is an anomaly. I mean, that’s great, but you can’t live your life in this business buying into that,” he told Vulture in 2012 of staying busy amid the singing show’s success. “I hope The Voice has a fifteen-year run, don’t get me wrong, but I come from nothing, and maybe it’s the Irish in me, but my attitude is always like, ‘They’ll figure me out soon. Axeel Melendez, 24, is suing Nanos and the Pima County, Arizona, sheriff’s department after deputies shot and paralyzed him while responding to a phony “swatting” call — the second major lawsuit against the department in two weeks. That’s not how it works.’ And assured him that … ‘nothing’s going to happen,'” Sethi said in a statement.The sheriff’s department then received a suspicious call to Melendez’s house, which they determined to be fake. Meredith Gaudreau mourned the loss of her beloved dog as the two-year anniversary of her husband Johnny Gaudreau’s death looms.  “Through it all my boy ��. With John now,” Meredith wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, August 4. “So many good pics, some of my favorites of my favorites ��. Love you forever my Kingy.” Meredith shared a carousel of photos from the dog’s life, most of which featured her late husband. Kingy was 10.  NHL star Johnny, 31, and his brother, Matthew Gaudreau, were struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver while riding bicycles the night before their sister Katie’s wedding on August 29, 2024. Friends and followers left their messages of support for Meredith on Tuesday, including Odette Werenski, the wife of Columbus Blue Jackets star and one of Johnny’s best friends, Zach Werenski.  “Love you so much ❤️❤️ Kingy was the best and luckiest boy ������,” Odette wrote.  Over the years, Meredith shared how Kingy had become a guard dog of sorts for her growing family.  “My baby boy with my baby girl ����,” Meredith shared via Instagram in December 2023, alongside a photo of the dog and her daughter, Noa.  Meredith and Johnny shared Noa, 3, and sons Johnny Jr., 2, and Carter, 16 months.  “Level up protectiveness ����,” she shared via Instagram in December 2022, sharing photos of the dog by her side shortly after Noa’s birth.  Meredith often celebrated Kingy’s birthday on social media. To celebrate him turning 5 in October 2020, she wrote, “Love my Kingy more and more every second ��.” When Kingy turned 3 in 2018, Meredith called him “the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” In an essay for The Players' Tribune in June 2025, Meredith recalled how Kingy was there the first time Johnny came into her life.  “Do you remember the day we met? I do,” she wrote. “The summer of 2018, in Avalon. I had just finished a shift at the Children’s Hospital, and I was sitting on the couch with Kingy lying at my feet. Do you remember how scary looking everyone thought he was? I was with him, just exhausted from my shift. I was in my sweats. Tyler was having a birthday party and you know how my sister is, she wanted to have everyone over.” Meredith continued, “They’d take one look at me and Kingy and head upstairs to see everyone. I remember there was this knock on the door, so I got up and went to answer it. And it was you. You had those little brown eyes, and a fohawk. And you just kind of looked at me for a second. ‘Hey. I’m Johnny,’ you said.”

UFC fighter Allan Nascimento has died after an apparent heart attack in his sleep. He was 34. “This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved fighter and exemplary flyweight, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep,” the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) said in a statement via its website on Monday, August 3. The statement continued, “Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Allan's family, friends, teammates, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.” According to the UFC, Nascimento was a member of the Chute Boxe Diego Lima team and had a record of 22 wins and seven losses in his mixed martial arts career. 16 of his wins came via submission. “A fixture on the doorstep of the Top 15, Nascimento was a constant presence alongside his teammates whenever they made the walk, sharing an especially close bond with former lightweight champion and current BMF titleholder Charles Oliveira,” the UFC said in a second statement paying tribute to the fighter. “Today I lost a brother that the fight game gave me,” Olivieira, 36, wrote via his Instagram Stories on Monday. “Thank you for always being by my side, for sharing the mats and the corner. I have nothing but gratitude for having you with me — in training, in the corner and just hanging out. I love you, man.” The Chute Boxe Academy also paid tribute to Nascimento on Monday via Instagram. “Today, our team has lost much more than an athlete; we have lost a warrior, a friend, a dedicated competitor, and an extraordinary human being who earned the respect and admiration of everyone privileged enough to know him,” the Brazilian MMA academy shared. “Allan inspired others both on and off the mats with his determination, humility, respect, and fighting spirit,” the school added. “His absence will be felt profoundly. Your name, your story, and your legacy will live on forever through our star ⭐️.” UFC middleweight fighter Caio Borralho remembered Nascimento in the comments section of the UFC’s Instagram post announcing the late fighter’s death. “He was one of the most kind fighters that’s I’ve ever met! Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham has sought a restraining order against embattled Rep. Max Miller, whom Grisham previously accused of abusing her.Grisham had sued Miller (R-Ohio) last month, alleging that he broke their nondisclosure agreement during a June interview with Spectrum News. It was not immediately clear why she sought a restraining order.An attorney for Grisham, Mark Zaid, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.Miller and Grisham briefly dated during the first Trump administration, when Miller worked as a special assistant to the president. The congressman has denied those claims.Moreno also raised concerns about their daughter’s broken collarbone and “what appeared to be a handprint bruise” on her shoulder earlier this year, according to a police report.Miller has until Wednesday to step aside so that Republicans can nominate a replacement in his House race, but has so far declined to do so.A recent Democrat-sponsored poll of Ohio’s 7th District showed Miller up just one point on his Bernie-Sanders-backed foe Brian Poindexter, in a district Trump won by 11 percentage points in 2024.“It’s a very sad thing. I know Max. He’s a good person.
