Sharna Burgess Reveals the Struggles of Balancing DWTS and Motherhood

Sharna Burgess Reveals the Struggles of Balancing DWTS and Motherhood

Sharna Burgess and her fiancé, Brian Austin Green, work hard to balance their respective careers with family — but it isn’t always easy. “I don't think there is a secret. I think sometimes we nail it and sometimes we don't,” Burgess, 41, exclusively told Us after the Tuesday, October 13, episode of Dancing With the Stars. “I think that's life. And yeah, and it just ebbs and flows, and you try and be a good team and you try and figure it out.” Burgess and Green, 53, have been together since 2020, welcoming son Zane two years later. After the couple’s engagement in 2023, Burgess returned to the DWTS ballroom for season 35 to dance with Bachelor Nation’s Tyler Cameron. (Green has recently been absent from the live shows in order to care for Zane and his older children from previous relationships.) At the end of the competition, Burgess will briefly join the live DWTS tour. “I'm so excited to go back on tour with everyone,” she said on Tuesday. “My life is not a life where I could just leave for three months. I can't take Zane with me, like, there's a lot of things in it.” According to Burgess, she agreed to go on the road for only “a couple weeks at a time.” “We're figuring out how to sprinkle me in there,” she said. “That's nothing unusual for our life, going away and working for a few weeks at a time. A few months [is] definitely different.” During Tuesday’s Super Bowl Night, Burgess and Cameron, 33, scored a total 30 out of 40 for their jazz routine inspired by the Black Eyed Peas’ 2011 halftime show. The pair narrowly survived elimination over Guillermo Rodriguez and Witney Carson. “We've been hanging in the bottom of the barrel for a minute now, so it seems like I know the humidity and the weather down here,” Cameron told Us. “I would like to get out of it, so hopefully next week we have a great moment and we find ourselves out of that bottom. … I promise you, the scores will get better. Just keep voting, y'all.” Burgess stressed that she is “grateful” for the fan votes as she and Cameron gear up for an emotional Dedication Night performance. “It's been something I've had circled on my calendar. It's a big goal of mine to get here,” Cameron teased. “I want to [do something special]. Sharna is the most incredible storyteller. This is, like, what she's truly passionate about, and it's made us very emotional for weeks now.” Without revealing the inspiration for their next routine, Cameron and Burgess hinted it will leave fans in tears. “When I created the edit of the song, I needed tissues,” the choreographer told Us. “Then, I prepped it the other day, and I also needed tissues, so you'll definitely need them.” Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Taylor Swift's Cozy Moment with Travis Kelce Steals the Spotlight

Taylor Swift's Cozy Moment with Travis Kelce Steals the Spotlight

Taylor Swift surrounded herself with loved ones while filming her “Patient Zero” video, including husband Travis Kelce. In a behind-the-scenes Spotify reel from the track’s Los Angeles shoot shared by Swift, 36, on Tuesday, October 13, Kelce, 37, was captured standing behind his wife as she worked on the video alongside one of its stars Dakota Johnson. While Swift sat in a director’s chair, the NFL star held onto Swift’s arms and rubbed her shoulders as he flashed a wide smile. The pop star, who filmed the video in a $47 million Beverly Hills mansion in March, per People, was seen resting her head into Kelce’s chest in a cozy display of affection between takes. Swift and Kelce’s wardrobes also complemented one another’s, with the singer sporting a cream knit and the athlete rocking a similar-hued collared skitted shirt of his own with an Elwood baseball cap. The reel’s release comes just days after the couple, who got married inside New York City’s Madison Square Garden on July 3, stepped out holding hands while enjoying a date night in the city. In footage published by Page Six, the pair were seen leaving the Jane Hotel and entering a waiting vehicle. For their night out, Kelce opted for another collared short-sleeved shirt while Swift paired form-fitting pants with a cropped brown top. Last month, Swift opened up about what inspired her to write "Patient Zero," which she announced as a new single on an extended version of 2025’s The Life of a Showgirl, on September 22. She said three days after her announcement during a Capital FM radio interview in the U.K, “The story behind me writing the song ‘Patient Zero’ is that I was hanging out with a bunch of friends, and one of my friends told us that she had been reached out to by the new girlfriend of an ex of hers, asking for guidance on if she had had the same experiences with this guy.” Swift added at the time that “everyone” in the group “immediately started saying, like, ‘Oh, I’ve been through that too,’ and telling the stories of when this kind of reach out had happened for them.” She concluded, “I thought to myself, ‘If this has happened to all of us, it’s such an interesting kind of angle on humanity and on relationships, and I wonder if I could write something from the perspective of getting this phone call, and really only from the perspective and the side of the phone call of the ex who’s been through it before.” Joining Johnson, 37, in the video, are other famous friends including Colin Farrell, Cara Delevingne and Matthew Stafford. Swift spoke in detail about the song via Instagram on September 28, too, noting that she was grateful to its collaborators for their efforts. “I want to thank @dakotajohnson and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste, and talent (Giggling with your friend because you’re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience),” she wrote at the time. “And Colin’s turn as a villain is even more impressive when you get to be around him. He’s an absolute light and as kind as they come. @caradelevingne, thank you for agreeing to play the lusty other woman. That’s what friends are for?”

NASA Astronaut Charles Duke Claims UFOs Are Demons in Disguise

See more of our coverage in your search results. Former NASA astronaut Charles Duke claimed that UFOs are demons that disguise themselves as angels so they can turn us away from our faith. Viktor - stock.adobe.com They skew more “Event Horizon” than “Close Encounters.”So much for sci-fi-movie-informed notions that extraterrestrials are benevolent beings aiming to better humanity.Former NASA astronaut Charles Duke claimed that UFOs are demons masquerading as angels, citing a Bible passage as evidence.“The Lord says what we’re seeing is real, but the devil can appear as an angel of light, the Bible says,” said the 91-year-old ex-spaceman during a recent appearance on the Christian Broadcasting Network.“You can laugh at me if you want to, but that’s … what God showed me, and I’m sticking to it,” declared Duke. LUKAS BARTH-TUTTAS/EPA-EFE / ShutterstockDuke, who became the youngest person to walk on the moon at age 36 during 1972’s Apollo 16 mission, claimed that these deep space demons are “trying to turn us away from the truth” and have us pursue alleged alien entities. The former explorer, who was the lunar module pilot for said spacecraft, claimed that he had long believed ETs were malevolent — but no one had believed him.“For a long time [years ago] I was praying about UFOs, and asked for a sign,” Duke said. “I felt like UFOs were demonic … but I was saying that at rotary clubs and stuff like that, and people were laughing me off the stage.”That’s when he decided to ask the Lord for a sign: If his close friend, a businessman who never discussed such far-out topics, would broach UFOs the next morning, it would prove his theory was true.In this April 1972 photo provided by NASA, astronaut John Young salutes the U.S. flag at the Descartes landing site on the moon during the first Apollo 16 extravehicular activity. APLo and behold, the next morning his friend allegedly said “Charlie, come on over. I want to start talking to you about UFOs,” Duke recalled. He said his suspicions were further confirmed by a passage the Bible’s 2 Corinthians 11:14, which says: “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”During this excerpt, Apostle Paul cautioned his followers about false apostles who disguise themselves as true believers espousing Christ’s gospel.Duke appeared to imply that these alleged wolves in priest’s clothing could come from the cosmos as well.“The Lord says what we’re seeing is real, but the devil can appear as an angel of light, the Bible says,” said Duke. Jaume – stock.adobe.com“You can laugh at me if you want to, but that’s … what God showed me, and I’m sticking to it,” declared Duke, who also served as the spacecraft communicator (CAPCOM) for the Apollo 11 Moon landing. Coincidentally, the former space-farer claimed he never had any close encounters during his lunar voyages.Coincidentally, Duke isn’t the first to float a religious interpretation of UFOs. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL.), who was one of the most prominent UFO disclosure voices in the weeks since the Whitehouse announced its UFO disclosure releases, uploaded religiously-charged messages to social media. On day of the first UFO disclosure release on May 8, the pol posted an X picture of a winged Ophanim — a wheel-like celestial entity described in the Book of Ezekiel.Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance theorized that UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) were the non-spacely spawn of Satan.“I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons anyway, but that’s a long discussion,” the veep told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson in March.

Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Store Encounter Sparks Unexpected Backlash

Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Store Encounter Sparks Unexpected Backlash

Art of Play co-owner Adam Rubin is taken aback by the impact of Kelly Clarkson’s critical post on his Brooklyn home store. “Honestly, I have no experience with this. I have no idea how we move forward with it,” Rubin said in an interview with 1010 WINS on 92.3 FM on Tuesday, October 13. “I just want to say we hold no ill will against Kelly Clarkson. We invite her to come back and enjoy the store. But, we find her gross abuse of power completely reprehensible, and she should face social consequences.” On Saturday, October 10, Clarkson, 44, first spoke out about her experience visiting Art of Play in New York. “Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale,” Clarkson wrote via X. “But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out .” A back-and-forth proceeded with Clarkson and the store sharing their own recollection of events. While The Voice coach hasn’t spoken out since Sunday, October 11, Rubin’s latest interview indicates her words are still having an impact. “We have to turn the phone off,” he claimed. “A regular customer couldn’t get in touch with us if they wanted to. Superstars, they should be held responsible for yielding their power against someone who is just a normal person.” Clarkson — who has not asked her fans to do anything to the store — has maintained that a mechanical singing bird hanging on the wall of the store had a price tag of $15,000. Rubin, however, claims the bird is not for sale. “We work directly with these artisans. If somebody is interested, we can reach out to this artisan and talk about maybe then getting a similar version,” he claimed, recalling his exchange with the first-ever American Idol winner. “These things take years to build. They’re not sitting in a warehouse somewhere. They don’t have next-day delivery. That conversation was had. Clearly, there was some miscommunication.” In a separate interview with USA Today, Rubin said the mechanical singing bird, which is named Molly, now has an eight-figure price tag and costs $15 million. “We’ve raised the price due to popular demand,” he told the publication.

Victoria's Secret Angel Romee Strijd 'Left in the Dark' After Show Rejection

Victoria's Secret Angel Romee Strijd 'Left in the Dark' After Show Rejection

Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd got candid about not being selected to walk in the 2026 fashion show. “I just hung up the phone [and] it’s a no, which is fine because rejection is part of modeling and that’s totally fine,” Strijd, 31, shared via TikTok on Monday, October 12, just days before the 2026 fashion show is set to take place on Sunday, October 18. She went on to say that while the casting team thought she looked “great,” they didn't think she would “fit in the show this year.” Strijd continued while wiping a tear from her eye, “I was like, ‘What was the reason? I would love to have an explanation.’” Her agency told her that the casting team “wasn't there yet” and that she had “been released,” which she said was news to her. The supermodel shared that she felt “left in the dark” on the matter and that she doesn't think she’s “gonna cast anymore in the future” because it left a bad taste in her mouth. “I don't like the way I was treated,” she said, noting that she wants to keep “the positive memories” from years past. In a separate TikTok on Monday, Strijd explained that she went to a casting call in September and “trained for it this summer.” “I wanted to do the show again even after kids. It felt like the right timing,” she said. (Strijd shares daughters Mint, 5, and June 3, with her fiancé, Laurens van Leeuwen. The couple has been engaged since 2022.) https://www.tiktok.com/@romeestrijd/video/7695781437244591374?lang=en “I knew the casting director already. I went and I thought I was gonna know soon after if I was gonna do the show or not, but I didn't hear anything for weeks,” she added. “I think I was on some sort of ‘maybe list.’ It’s Monday now, the show is on Sunday, and I still haven't heard anything.” Strijd continued to ask her agency for updates, but they told her she was still on the “maybe” list. “It's been a little bit of a roller-coaster mentally for me, since I have to continue training, but I’m not sure if I’m gonna do it.” “I wish I had a little bit more clearance,” she continued. “I think it’s gonna be a no but I also keep training because you never know — in fashion and modeling it’s all very last minute.” Strijd walked in every Victoria’s Fashion Show from 2014 though 2018. With this year’s catwalk event just days away, fans have been sounding off about the castings. “Influencers doing the show but not the OG angels????? Insanity,” one social media user commented on Strijd’s video, while another wrote, “Honestly... if you don't walk and they use influencers and nepo babies thats a [sic] absolute joke!!!”

Florida Man Sparks Outrage After Random Attack Over 1960s 'Dislike'

Florida Man Sparks Outrage After Random Attack Over 1960s 'Dislike'

A Florida man was arrested after he allegedly slashed a 70-year-old man across the face with a box cutter as she shopped at Publix because he “disliked” people born in the 1960s, authorities claim. Ramsey Thomas Lyons was arrested on Saturday, October 10, and charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 years or older. The alleged incident took place when Lyons, 47, came into contact with the 70-year-old man while he was shopping in an aisle at the grocery store. The victim "suddenly felt as if someone had punched him in the left side of his face,” according to a probable cause arrest affidavit viewed by Law & Crime. Police said that he then turned around and saw Lyons staring at him while holding a box cutter. The victim realized he had been stabbed when he saw blood on his hands and he ran for help, according to the affidavit. Officers with the Punta Gorda Police Department then arrived at the scene, and they found Lyons standing near the store entrance with his hands on his head. Lyons was taken into custody and officers recovered a box cutter at the scene. Lyons then spoke to authorities and told them that he had an "undiagnosed mental illness" and had a "dislike for the 1960's era,” per the affidavit. The defendant added that he allegedly entered the store "with the intent to murder someone" and he saw the victim soon after. Lyons also said that he allegedly attacked the man because he "looked like he was from the 1960's.” "I just pulled it out of my pocket and stuck it in his neck," Lyons allegedly said before adding that he had been thinking of attacking someone in the two days leading up to the attack. Following the attack, he said that he dropped the box cutter so the police "wouldn't be scared" and, as a result, shoot or Taser him. Additionally, Lyons told authorities that he did not know the victim and randomly picked him out. Police said that the victim suffered a gash to his face, which started on his left cheek near his mouth. The cut continued down on his jawline to his neck. Authorities added that the victims needed "numerous stitches,” but appeared to be in stable condition. After Lyons was arrested, he was taken to Charlotte County Jail and is currently being held without bond. He is next scheduled to appear in court on November 16. It is not currently clear if Lyons has entered a plea or retained legal counsel following his arrest. The Punta Gorda Police Department had no additional information to share when contacted by Us about the case.

Why Congratulating Newly Engaged Couples Might Be a Faux Pas

Why Congratulating Newly Engaged Couples Might Be a Faux Pas

See more of our coverage in your search results. If you find yourself typing “congratulations” under a couple’s engagement photos on social media, you might want to think again.Etiquette expert Alison Cheperdak warns that congratulating lovebirds on the momentous occasion is actually a faux pas, explaining that it makes engagement feel like a necessary life achievement rather than an act of true love.“Saying ‘congratulations’ can imply that the engagement is an achievement,” she told Jam Press.“As if one partner ‘won’ the other, rather than a mutual decision to build a life together.”Saying “congratulations,” according to Cheperdak, implies that it is a shock that a bride has found love and that the partner is some sort of prize for the other. Nina/peopleimages.com – stock.adobe.comThe Washington, D.C., etiquette expert explained that congratulating the bride could be perceived as being surprised that she has “found love.” “It can suggest that one person is lucky to have secured the other, which can feel transactional rather than a celebration of mutual love,” she added, highlighting that marriage is “not a task accomplished,” but rather a commitment to love.“While getting married is significant, achievements are typically efforts that require skill or accomplishment, like a career milestone or completing a personal goal.”Cheperdak, an etiquette expert from Washington, D.C., suggests that people should say, “best wishes” instead. Jam Press/@elevateetiquetteCheperdak received some backlash on TikTok after explaining her rationale online, as viewers snarked that her take is “crazy.” Jam Press Vid/@elevateetiquetteShe suggested saying, “I’m so happy for your both” or “best wishes” as a substitute.“Express excitement without the connotations of congratulations,” she advised.“Congratulations should be reserved for accomplishments such as graduating, landing a new job, or reaching a personal milestone — moments that reflect individual effort and growth — which will look different for different people.”Cheperdak posted a TikTok series on the subject, but received mixed reactions.“Hey! So this is crazy,” one critic wrote.“I never in a million years would make the association that ‘Congratulations’ means ‘I didn’t think you’d do it'” declared another. To congratulate someone on marriage, Cheperdak said, makes it feel “transactional rather than a celebration of mutual love.” Jam Press/@elevateetiquette“I don’t think it’s that deep,” snarked someone else.“Oh geez,” one user wrote sarcastically. “You’re a BLAST.”Some, however, agreed with Cheperdak’s advice.“Yes! Always taught this. I always say ‘best wishes!'” one person said.“Agree! I’m a wedding photographer and I just say ‘Omg how exciting you must be over the moon.’ Something like that,” agreed another.

South Carolina Woman Arrested After Teen's Fatal Shooting Sparks Outrage

South Carolina Woman Arrested After Teen's Fatal Shooting Sparks Outrage

A South Carolina woman who has custody over her 15-year-old family member was arrested after authorities claimed the teen fatally shot a friend in the head. The shooting was accidental, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. Davina Jill Browne, of Walhalla, was arrested on Friday, October 9, on a charge of unlawfully placing a child at risk of harm, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. Browne, 33, allegedly put her 15-year-old relative at risk by letting him have access to a 9mm Taurus handgun. “Browne did have knowledge that the 15 year old had the gun and did not have proper preventative measures in place, according to investigators,” the sheriff’s office said. The teen was arrested on an involuntary manslaughter charge on Thursday, October 8, after he accidentally shot and killed his friend with the firearm that morning, according to the sheriff’s office, which didn’t identify him by name due to his age. The fatal shooting unfolded inside the teen’s bedroom at a Walhalla home, where the gun was underneath a pillow, according to authorities. When the teen retrieved the gun, the weapon went off and struck his friend, another teenager, the sheriff’s office said. The friend was taken to a hospital and ultimately died, according to authorities. He was identified as Thaddaeus Justice Terezakis, 15, per WHNS-TV. His death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy. Terezakis and Browne’s 15-year-old relative have ties to the School District of Oconee County, according to the TV station, which reported one teen was a former student while the other is a current student. “Our hearts are breaking for the young people and families involved in today’s events and in a close-knit community like ours, a tragedy like this reaches far beyond those directly involved. It touches our schools, families, and neighbors in deeply personal ways,” the district said in a statement shared with WHNS-TV. “Our hearts remain with everyone impacted, and our focus now is on supporting our students, staff, and families as we navigate this difficult time together.” Information on whether Browne had retained legal counsel wasn’t immediately available. The sheriff’s office didn’t specify the direct relation between her and the teen in her custody.

Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte Surprise Commuters on London Tube

Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte Surprise Commuters on London Tube

Princess Kate Middleton and her daughter, Princess Charlotte, hopped aboard London’s Underground for a rare outing. Kate, 44, and Charlotte, 11, were seen mingling with commuters while riding the Elizabeth Line, which travels from Greater London to parts of Buckinghamshire, Essex and Hertfordshire. “They spoke to members of the public sitting across from them,” a source told Hello! after riders spotted the duo during a public transit adventure on Saturday, October 10. “They had security with them. The security didn't make it obvious they were there and they tried to make it as 'normal' as possible.” “Catherine had her phone with her and was looking at her phone for a couple of minutes. They seemed very relaxed and were chatting together, smiling,” added the eyewitness. “It was a brief interaction with people opposite them, but they seemed very happy.” The Princess of Wales, who wore a burgundy midi dress with matching heels, held her mini-me’s hand while exiting at the Tottenham Court Road stop. Kate used to ride the tube in the years before she wed husband Prince William, but it was an unexpected appearance for Charlotte. The young royal seemed almost “amazed” as she looked around the carriage, according to a source who saw her on the newest tube line, which opened during the late Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee year in May 2022. As previously reported, William, 44, and Kate couldn’t be more proud of the young girl they are raising. Royal expert Sharon Carpenter told Us in April 2025, “They’ve watched Charlotte grow into a smart, confident and funny girl who knows how to hold her own both in the spotlight and outside of it.” Royal insiders said that Charlotte is well-rounded. Not only is she sporty and outdoorsy, but also fashionable and girly. “She’s following closely in her mother’s footsteps when it comes to her princess style, and she’s now regarded as a major child fashion icon,” noted Carpenter. “Charlotte has a sassy sense of humor, just like her dad.” (In addition to Charlotte, William and Kate share sons Prince George, 13, and Prince Louis, 8.) “She really enjoys helping her mother out in the kitchen and will likely be quite the chef when she gets older,” said Carpenter, who shared that William and Kate “are teaching their kids to be responsible.” Plus, Charlotte and her brothers are “encouraged to play outside or get creative.”
